"Let's do this," Miguel said from the passenger seat of Sam's car, Hawk and Maria both in the back, as they pulled up the Golf n' Stuff.
"What should we do first?" Maria asks, hanging off of Hawks arm as per usual.
"Golf?" Sam suggests, looking around at the group.
"Sounds good to me," The Hispanic girl nodded and they got golf balls and clubs.
Sam went first, making it close to the first hole. Miguel followed, completely failing miserably.
"Here," Maria stepped forward, speaking in a sarcastic, cocky manner. "Let me show you how it's done."
Maria hits her light blue golf ball with the matching club, making it land just behind Sam's.
"Not bad, babe," Hawk speaks up, placing down his dark blue golf ball and preparing to hit it with his matching club. "But here's how a pro does it."
The four of them mini golfed for the first portion of the night. As they gave back their clubs and balls, Maria watched as her brother started to become nervous around Sam, trying to impress her. So, being the amazing sister she was, she cooked up a plan.
"I'm a little hungry," Maria says. "Hawk, wanna go get something from the food court?"
"Sure, babe." He agrees, shrugging.
"You guys grab a table?" She shoots a look at her brother raising her eyebrows at him.
"Okay," Miguel glances at his sister, desperately trying to communicate with his eyes.
"C'mon," Maria grabs Hawks hand and they head towards the restaurant.
"So," Sam asks Miguel as they go in the opposite direction of the couple, though they're going to the same place. "How long have Hawk and your sister been dating?"
"I don't know exactly, but they told me at the Halloween dance." Miguel informs.
"Oh, so it's serious?" Sam inquires.
"Y-yeah?" He doesn't know where she's going with this. Sure they've dated for about six months, but that didn't mean they were serious, right?
Sam shrugged. "Okay,"
"What do you want to eat?" Hawk asked Maria as they stood behind someone who was ordering.
Maria shot Hawk a smirk, and he couldn't help the fact that his face reddened. "I'll have a cheeseburger. You?"
"I'll have the spaghetti," He replied. "What about Sam and Miguel?"
"Oh, them?" Maria asked innocently. "We're not ordering for them. In fact, we're not going to see them for the rest of the night." She wiggles her eyebrows.
"What? Why?" Hawk's confused face makes Maria smile.
"You're so cute when you're confused," She notes, making Hawk roll his eyes. "But because they need some alone time, considering it's their first date."
Hawk sends her a wicked grin, bending down to whisper in her ear. "And we need some alone time, considering you look so wonderful in those jeans." His breath was hot down her neck, making her get goosebumps.
"Next!" The cashier called, snapping the two from their moment. They ordered and Maria shot Miguel a text.
We're headed out bro good luck don't forget protection
Miguel took a moment to answer, but when he did Maria laughed out loud.
What?!
You can't leave!!
