Maria rolled over in Hawks bed, scooting closer to him. It was cold this morning, despite it being June. Half of her body was under the blanket, wrapped around Hawk. But the other half was brushing the wall, covered in goosebumps.

"Baby, gimmie some blanket," She whined tugging on his arm a little.

Hawk turned over to pick the blanket up off the floor. As he threw it over his shoulder, he spun the alarm clock around. He usually kept it faced downward while he slept because the green lights were bright.

"What time is it?" Maria whispered, snuggling against his back and covering herself with the blanket.

"9:47," He replied groggily.

Suddenly, the time registered in his brain and he jumped to his feet, slipping on his jeans that smelled strongly of alcohol. "Babe, get up, we have to be at the arena -" He checked the time once more. "Twenty minutes ago!"

Maria jumped to her feet as well.

The two scrambled around the house, knowing that Hawks parents would already be at the arena. They ate quick breakfasts as they packed away their karate gear and clothes for after the match.

Sensei was going to kill them.

Maria and Hawk burst into the arena as sensei gave the rest of the Cobra Kai karate dojo a pep talk.

"We do whatever it takes to keep are heads above -" Sensei cuts himself off when he sees the couple, panting as they rushed over. "Where the hell were you guys?" He demanded. "You know what? I don't even want to know."

"Sorry we're late," Maria apologized, getting a stern look from Miguel.

"Anyways, remember who you are," Sensei finishes. "You're badass! You don't give a shit! You're Cobra Kai!"

"Cobra Kai!" They repeated.

As Miguel started to pull his gi from his bag, sensei stopped him. "No, you're not wearing those."

Maria and Aisha stayed close together as they changed in the locker rooms, not wanting to interact too much with the one other girl in there.

The girl was blonde with blue eyes and she looked mean.

As Maria washed her face before leaving the locker rooms, the girl came up beside her. "I'm Blake," She said to Maria.

"Maria," She replied.

"I know who you are. I just want you to know I don't want there to be any hard feelings when I kick your ass out there," Maria was shocked. What the hell was she doing? Trying to get under her skin? "I know all the things you've done. You're a whore. Nothing more, got that?"

Maria hadn't even realized Blake was backing her into a wall until Maria had no where else to go. Blake slammed her hand down right beside Maria, enjoying watching the Ecuadorian girl flinch. She laughed in her face before leaving the locker rooms.

"Maria, you're on thin ice today," Sensei warns as Maria leaves the locker rooms, shaken up from her run in with Blake. "Anyways, wait for my cue."

They all nod, Maria a little slower than the others. "You okay, babe?" Hawk whispers in her ear, sounding concerned.

"Y-yeah," She shakes her head. Maria cannot be distracted when the biggest competition of her life is right in front of her.

"Now!" Sensei whisper-shouts.

They line up and begin their chant, the lights going low just for them. "Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!" They repeat their dojo name as they run into the arena, ready to fight.

"Now that's what I call and entrance!" The announcer yelled cheerfully. "And a badass name for a dojo! Let's hear it for Cobra Kai!"

Maria found it in her to smile when she heard the cheers, though she faltered a little when she saw Blake standing on the other side of the mats, giving her a death glare.

Maria looked away.

"And finally," The announcer turned to the crowd, excitement clear in his voice. "Fighting unaffiliated from North Hills, we have Mr. Robby Keene!"

Maria felt like she should remember the name, though she couldn't put a finger on where she'd seen or heard it before.

And then the blonde boy called jogged from where Maria and her dojo had came from, and she remembered him immediately. Robby, Sam's new boyfriend. The boy she cheated on Miguel with.

Maria would teach this boy a lesson.

"Alright folks!" The announcer said with finality. "Get ready, it's karate time!"

Maria fought a boy first. He was a little shorter than her, but muscular, and she was ready to take him down. Maria tried to kick him, but he grabbed her foot and yanked it forward causing her to lose her balance. Maria recovered quickly, swinging around and kicking the boy in the back.

He fell on to the mats. The crowd cheered for Maria, and she had to admit she liked the sound. "Point, Maria Diaz."

They bowed again and Maria punched him in the stomach. Before he could even process what was happening, Maria ducked and swept his legs out from under him, and he landed hard on the mat, the air being knocked from his lungs.

"Point, Maria Diaz." The reff said, and Maria couldn't help but smile. One more point and she'd win her first real match.

For the final round, Maria went to punch the boy again, but he blocked it. In her moment of surprise she took a hit to the stomach, doubling over.

"Point, Carter Black." The reff yelled.

Maria stayed on the ground, he'd punched her hard and she had a hell of a hangover anyways. "Come on, Maria, let's go baby!" She turned and saw Hawk cheering for her, along with Aisha, Miguel, and sensei. Maria looked into the crowd. Her mother and grandmother were yelling for her to get back up.

So, just for them, Maria got back to her feet. The crowd cheered. This time, Maria landed a kick first right to his chest, making him fall over. But she wasn't done yet. She wanted him gone. Maria slid on her knees and punched him as hard as she could in his face.

There were a few boos amongst the crowd, but mostly there were cheers. "Maria Diaz!" The announcer yelled.

Maria fought hard and long, winning all the matches she played. Finally, there were six people left, and Maria was one of them.

Oh my God!! I'm so excited I literally can't even begin to explain my excitedness to you guys because it's literally unexplainable.
Okay, okay. I'm calm. So, I've got a new OC, named Blake Chambers. She's going to be a bad guy for now, I haven't really decided yet.
But anyways don't forget to vote and comment your thoughts and suggestions!!

Question: Do you want Maria to win the All Valley? Or would you prefer Miguel like usual?
