"What is this, Diaz?" Sensei demanded, pulling the edge of Maria's gi down ever so slightly to reveal the bruise-like marks, that were anything but.

Several chuckles erupted around the dojo, Maria's face turning beat red, along with Hawks. "What's funny?" Sensei looked around, confused. "Bert, what the hell are they?"

"Uh . . ." He shot Maria an apologetic look before speaking. "Hickeys, sensei."

Sensei's quiet for a moment, he stares at Maria for a second, and the shade of red that colors her face darkens. "That's when . . ." Sensei's eyes drift over to Hawk, who's standing a row over from Maria. "Hawk, see me after class."

The blue haired boy looked slightly terrified, but nodded all the same. "Yes, sensei."

"You couldn't cover it up?" Miguel asked Maria through laughter as he, his sister, and Aisha waited outside the dojo for Hawk to go to the movies.

"I didn't see that one!" Maria claims, being the only one out of the three not laughing.

Aisha doubles over in giggles. "'That one'?" She inquires. "How many are you hiding?"

"Hawk, tell me," Sensei sat at his desk, kicking his feet up on the wooden surface, and opening a Banquet. "How do you give  someone a hickey?"

Sensei knew the answer to this, in fact, he knew what was on Maria's neck the moment he saw it. But he needed to make sure that Hawk knew the consequences of marking his girlfriend.

"You . . . uh . . ." Hawk stutters, clearly debating if he should say he knows nothing. "Suck." He mutters, coughing over the word.

"Louder," Sensei demands, enjoying the embarrassed look on Hawks face a little too much.

"To give a hickey, you suck, sensei." Hawk places his hands behind his back, and stands tall and stiff as sensei gets to his feet and walks around his desk.

"Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot!" Sensei snapped, making Hawk stiffen even more. "How. Do. You. Give. A. Hickey?"

Hawk doesn't speak right away. "Uh, sensei, my friends are waiting for me -"

"I asked you a question!" He barked. "Answer it!"

"To give a hickey, you suck on the skin until it's red. It'll leave a mark, and usually turn purple if you do it hard enough, sensei!" Hawk could feel embarrassment written across his face. It might as well have been tattooed there.

Sensei burst out laughing, leaving the blue haired boy confused. "You don't think I know what a hickey is? I was the king of hickeys!" Then, the blonde haired man slams his hand down on the desk, killing his laughter. "Ever leave a mark on her where I can see it again, and it'll be the last thing you do. I love that girl like a daughter, and if you break her heart again there will be consequences."

This wasn't what sensei really wanted to talk about, but he ended up here and everything he was saying was true.

"You knew about that?" Hawk asks, forgetting who he was talking to for a moment. Was it really that obvious that he and Maria had broken up?

"I'm not blind," Sensei retook his seat behind his desk. "It broke her. Don't do it again. You're dismissed."

"Y-yes sensei," Hawk stutters before bowing and leaving the dojo.

"So, what went down in there?" Aisha asked Hawk as he exited the dojo.

"He just kind of flipped out on me . . ." Hawk explained. "Demanding to know how to give a hickey and then saying he was the king of hickeys. I think he's bipolar."

Maria laughed. "It's kind of my fault. I couldn't see that one." She wrapped Hawks arm around her shoulders.

"Just to be safe, I think I should help you cover those things up." Hawk decides, laughing a little even though he's slightly on edge from sensei's threat.

Hawk, Maria, Aisha, and Miguel filled into the seats, in that order. For a while they all watched the movie contently. But soon they got sidetracked by their thoughts and each other.

Their spot was in the way back upper left corner, and the rows beside them, behind them, and in front of them were empty. So, Maria and Hawk ended up making out for most of the movie.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Aisha asked Miguel who looked slightly upset. She wouldn't blame him if he simply motioned to the two kissing on the African American girls other side.

"I can't stop thinking about what sensei told me about Sam's dad,"  Miguel admits.

"So, Sam's dad and sensei have some beef," Aisha shrugs. "What's that have to do with you?"

"Do I have to spell it out for you?" Miguel asks her sarcastically, sighing. "Sam's dad hates Cobra Kai. I'm apart of Cobra Kai. So, by the transitive property, Sam's dad is going to hate me!"

"Jesus Christ, you're such a nerd." Hawk speaks up from where Maria nibbles on his neck.

"I'm telling you, it's not just on my mind," Miguel insisted. "Sam acted weird when her dad walked by the other day."

"Listen, I've known Mr. LaRusso since the third grade. He's a really nice guy, you just have to talk to him." Aisha insists.

"I haven't even been invited over yet," Miguel grumbles. "She's probably too afraid to introduce me."

"Speaking of which, when do you guys come over for dinner?" Hawk asks, pulling away from Maria and taking a sip of his drink. "I really want to meet your mom."

"Tonight?" Miguel asks, thankful to have something take his mind off of Sam.

"Sure, mom gets home early, right?" Maria asks and Miguel nods. The girl turns back to Hawk. "We'll be there."

Hawk grins at her and slowly pushes their lips back together. "Can't you guys just watch the movie?" Aisha asks them, slightly annoyed. "Somebody's dying and you two are making out."

The couple laugh and pull apart, a little disappointed. Maria moves over to where she's sitting in Hawks lap, and lays her head on his chest. If they're not allowed to kiss, might as well cuddle.

And Hawk couldn't be more excited. He was finally going to meet Maria's mom and grandmother, and he couldn't wait. He had to make a good impression, and he was positive he would at all costs.

Maria was a little nervous for the introduction that was to take place later tonight, but she figured it would be good. Her and Hawk were dating for just over half of a year, and only Maria knew Hawks mom.

One thing was for sure, it would be an introduction to remember.

I'm so excited! I know I talked about introducing the Moskowitz parents and the Diaz parent a couple times before, but now I'm actually going to do it.
