"It's my parents anniversary," Hawk said as he and Maria walked home from karate. Miguel had been picked up from the dojo by Sam. The two were going on date without Maria and Hawk. "You should come over. We can order pizza, watch your favorite romance movies until sunrise."

"Or," Maria raised her eyebrows hintingly. "We could do something else 'till sunrise."

Hawk immediately brightened, making Maria laugh. "My parents should have an anniversary more often!"

"Yeah, they should." Maria adds. They stop in front of her apartment. She gives him a kiss goodbye. "I'll see you later then, babe?"

"Later then." He repeated, walking down towards his house.

Maria wanted to go shopping for a new bathing suit for tonight, so before dinner she called Aisha.

"Hey, do you want to go to the mall?" She asked.

"Sure, I need new sandals for summer anyways." The girl replied happily. "I'll pick you up in ten?"

"See you then." Maria confirmed, hanging up.

The two girls sang in the car, dancing to the music despite the restrictions that occured with seat belts and driving. They laughed and gossiped, having an amazing time at the mall. They grabbed smoothies and tried on goofy sunglasses, as well as crazy outfits.

Maria had originally gone to the mall to buy a new bathing suit, but she'd also gotten a pair of earrings, nose rings, an adorable sweater, and a new pair of sandals that matched Aisha's.

Her bathing suit was an all black, v-cut bikini that tied around her neck and in the middle of her back. Maria tried it on, and it did in fact expose her tattoo, and that had to be her favorite part about it.

Aisha dropped Maria off at her apartment, waiting outside for her to change into denim shorts and a tight, neon orange, backless tank top. Aisha then drove the girl of to Hawks, despite the fact that she could walk there.

"Use protection," Aisha said as Maria left the car, making the Ecuadorian girl roll her eyes. Hawk stood in the doorway of his house, wearing a Tshirt and swimming trunks. His hair wasn't in its usual spiky mohawk, it was down and framing his face. Before Aisha drove away, she yelled to the couple out of her car window. "Don't get her pregnant!"

Maria laughed nervously as her and Hawk went inside. "I like your hair down," Maria noted as she followed her boyfriend into the living room

"I like yours better," He replied. The two seat themselves on the couch, as close as possible. "What do you want to watch?"

"We don't have to watch a romance, babe." Maria whispers, looking up and into his eyes from where she's seated beside him on the couch.

"It's okay, you can pick." He assured, slouching so he was more comfortable.

They scrolled Netflix for a while before Maria finally decided on a movie. "We should watch Silent Hill."

"A horror movie?" Hawk asks her in disbelief. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, babe." She playfully hits his leg. "Play it!"

Maria cried at the end of the movie, and Hawk cradled her in his arms. He had a small smirk on his face. Maria was so gentle. He loved her with everything he was.

"Aww . . ." He popped his bottom lip out dramatically, making her roll her eyes. "It's just a movie, baby."

She pushed away from him, sitting at the opposite side of the couch crossing her arms. Maria held back a hiccup, trying to be angry. Hawk crawled over the cushions slowly getting closer.

"C'mon, you're mad at me?" He asks sarcastically, popping out his lower lip again.

Maria got to her feet and stormed through the house, he followed her and they ended up outback on the patio.

Maria pulled off her shorts then her shirt, and turned towards him. It was dark now, the only lights being the ones from the pool and the tiki torches that lit up every night automatically.

Maria slowly backed into the pool, keeping her chin tilted low, her eyebrows furrowed, and her lip puckered out, trying to keep up her angry persona.

Hawk went back into the house hurrying as fast as he could. He grabbed two wine glasses and filled them both with a classy wine his father bought his mother last year. He then turned on the speaker, making it play Perfect on repeat.

He took both glasses, the speaker, and his phone out to the pool, setting them down beside the water. Maria lounged lazily, grinning at her boyfriend.

He ordered a pizza quickly and got into the pool. Hawk tried to get to Maria, but every time he got close she jumped away from him.

Maria turned around from the opposite side of the pool Hawk was on and splashed him lightly. He grinned at her wickedly and hurried over. This time, she let him catch her, and he threw her over his shoulder. She shrieked, though it was mixed with laughter.

Hawk turned around to see Maria's form floating motionlessly in the pool. He pushed her leg, but she stayed still. "Maria?" He asked, giving her leg another push, this one slightly harder. "Maria, that's not funny!" He didn't even believe his own words. "Maria!"

Hawk grabbed her arms and pulled her up, and she burst out laughing. He was confused for a moment, but he caught on quickly. She tricked him.

"You should've seen your face!" Maria laughed.

Hawk grabbed her shoulder, making her face him. Her laughter stopped immediately when she was met with worry and anger in his eyes. She hadn't meant to upset him. "Never do that to me again," He whispered in her ear.

"Or what?" Maria challenged, giggling.

Hawk couldn't contain himself any longer, and he turned her around, pushing her against the side of the pool. Maria wrapped her legs around his waist as he began kissing her collar bone. His kisses got higher and higher and then lower and lower again, and she was tired of the teasing.

Maria tipped his head around and smashed his lips to hers, kissing him desperately. He smiled against her and Maria rolled over, pinning him to the pool wall instead.

"How about that?" Maria growled with a mischievous smile, licking behind his ear and down his jaw.

Hawk pushed her face in front of his, connecting their lips like magnets. She opened her mouth against his, allowing him to slip his tongue into her mouth and granting him full access. Hawk had one hand on her waist, and he discreetly inched his other hand around her neck, untying her bathing suit top.

Suddenly the doorbell rang, echoing over the music. The two jumped apart as if whoever was at the door had seen them. Maria gasping, desperately tying her bikini again.

"Goddamn pizza," Hawk groaned, getting out of the pool in disappointment.
