Miraculous Ladybug Season 4: The Collusion of Trauma

Glaciator 2.0(rewrite)

(Glaciator itself is kind of a special villain to some shippers because the episodes he is in follows Marichat.  Marinette and Cat Noir aka the best ship in this show.  If you recall from my Season 3 rewrite info page, I wrote saying I do ship Adrienette, FOR certain reasons.  But at the end, I did say Marichat is the best ship, and it's not hard to see why.  Marinette and Cat Noir are the true selves of our two MCs.  Marinette is herself as Marinette, and Adrien is himself as Cat Noir.  This leads to an incredible experience of fresh, non-toxic love that we need more of in the show.  No stalking, no arguing, no negativity.  Just pure positivity, humor, and honesty that is just so beautiful to witness.  But just like Lila and Felix, this ship comes mostly once every season, and we have to wait for the next one.  Fun Fact: I think Thomas Astruc, the show's creator, HATES Marichat.  It is kind of hilarious to me that this man hates everything interesting in the show he made(No offense).  I will pretty much be rewriting the ending of this episode because for the most part, this episode has some amazing Marichat moments.  So this will be a summarization, and then a rewritten ending.  Now, please enjoy my next story for Season 4).

Ladybug and Cat Noir are fighting Glaciator once again.  As they fight, people have been calling Ladybug and Cat Noir a perfect couple.  It is all over the city.  Magazines, billboards, even blimps.  That is because Ladybug and Cat Noir were voted as couple of the year.  And the photo is the time they kissed in Oblivo(I love it).  Glaciator claims that his ice cream did this, but Ladybug calls this a misunderstanding.  The duo continues to fight the ice cream man, but after Cat Noir gets a little too flirty with Ladybug, she throws him into the trash.  He watches, as Ladybug finishes off Glaciator all by herself.  She freed him, and leaves.  However, forgetting to give him a magical charm.  She then takes the trash bin with Cat Noir to a rooftop to talk.  She is mad at her kitty, who tries to take her to a movie, or a restaurant for their nomination.  Ladybug responds by yelling at him saying that they are not a couple at all.  Cat Noir sees the anger his his Lady's eyes, and realizes why she is mad.  She wants Cat to stop his love for her, but he just loves her so much.  Ladybug does tell Cat Noir that his heart is in the right place, but she really wants him to stop.  He agrees he will, and leaves.  At home, Adrien keeps his word.  He deletes all his photos of Ladybug on his phone, and computer(Pause for a minute.  Just like the couch scene in Gabriel Agreste Part 2, I think Cat being thrown in the trash harsh, but well deserved.  I mean, he has been doing this flirtation for four seasons, even when Ladybug tells him she loves someone else.  It makes sense to me she would do that because she really wants him to stop).  At Alya's Marinette forces her to delete the photos.  She does, which gets on the news.  Marinette reacts in anger, while Adrien reacts in sadness.  At fencing, Adrien gets easily defeated by Kagami because of his sadness.  After practice, Kagami wants to help him, but Adrien says that no one can help him.  His depression continues to rise in the car, as he starts to cry.  He asks to stop for a minute, and his bodyguard agrees.  He goes into the park where they fought Glaciator, and sees the billboard.  That makes him cry a stream, which honestly makes me sad as well.  Shadowmoth senses this wave of emotions, but stops when he realizes its his son.  Since he doesn't know the truth, he refuses to akumatize him.  He de-transforms, and calls the bodyguard to take Adrien home.  At Mari's she is trying to get the billboards removed, when she sees sad Adrien.  Instead of going to comfort him, she grabs a gift from her box to try to get him to lover her(Again, it WILL be fixed.  The stalking like behavior will be FIXED).  She goes to Adrien, and gives him the gift.  When he opens it, he likes it.  Marinette then tells Adrien she loves him, and Adrien feels the same way.  But of course, this is all a dream.  She says the gift is trash, and throws it away.  Adrien still has sadness coursing through him, but he is forced to go home now.  He leaves, as Marinette expresses her failure(this then leads to a sub plot, where Kagami tries to help Mari by using a manga.  Yeah, that is going to be erased here because it just looks pointless to me).  At home, Gabriel sees Adrien's not ok, and actually becomes a good Dad, and tells him he can talk to him if he needs too.  Adrien goes to his room, and decides that he wants to make sure he is done loving Ladybug.  He transforms, and gets to work(The next scene is where Kagami talks to Mari, but that got erased, so pretend that scene doesn't happen).  We then see Cat Noir destroying a billboard to get over Ladybug.  Plagg is getting tired, but Adrien wants to FULLY give up on Ladybug.  They continue to work, while Mari tries to call someone to practice her love confession.  She finds no one, until she spots Cat Noir across the building from her.  She calls him over, and he comes.  Although he is hesitant at first when Mari tells him she needs a boyfriend, she explains that she needs him to pretend he is the boyfriend.  And this is where the highlight of the episode begins.  Marinette practice to confess her love, while Cat Noir is the "boyfriend."  She says a speech involving three suns in her heart.  She successfully says the speech, until Cat Noir interrupts.  He says that he doesn't love anyone, and got confused when she said Cat Noir's name.  So they need a new name.  Marinette chooses Buttercup, which makes Cat Noir laugh.  Marinette tells him to go with it, and then continue.  Eventually, Cat Noir goes from laughing at Buttercup, to making "serious" faces, to an emotional reaction to Mari's confession, even though she didn't finish it.  Over this time, she starts to get mad at Cat Noir, and eventually gets very mad during her confession.  When Cat tells her that she is starting to not sound nice, she ask him to do it.  Cat Noir says her speech in a funny, and truthful way.  Marinette then sees that this is more hard than she thought.  Cat Noir tries to comfort her, and suggest they go to a movie to blow off some steam.  They take a bus to the movie, and definitely don't pick an rom coms.  As they chat, Andre the ice cream man spots the two, and gets upset.  At the movies, the two have a very interesting and realistic conversation about the struggles of telling one you love them, and that Mari fantasize yourself being with the one she loves, even though it is not her opening her heart.  Cat Noir comfort her again, when he says he like hamsters(something she mentioned in her fantasy), and she feels better.  Outside in the rain, Cat Noir activates his umbrella, so they can avoid getting wet.  As they walk, Cat Noir tells Mari that he is like her, but the opposite.  He cannot stop confessing to Ladybug, or fall for someone else because he views her as someone special to him.  Because of his love for her, he claims she hates him now.  Marinette comforts him, by saying Ladybug still cares for Cat Noir, and he feels better.  That is one of the main reason why Marichat is so awesome.  They both are honest when expressing their real life troubles to each other, and try to make the other one better in that case.  They don't just tell them to get over it, or grow up.  They make them feel better.  Andre the ice cream man sees this again, and gets upset.  Yep, he gets upset over Marichat.  Shadowmoth senses his emotions, and since he doesn't have a magical charm, he can be akumatized again with a megakuma(Dearest Family).  At Mari's, Cat Noir takes her home, and ask her if she is ready.  She is ready, but before they can start, Glaciator reappears.  He shots at them, so Cat Noir takes Marinette to safety.  Mari then realizes she forgot to give Andre a magical charm, so they need to defeat one final time.   She transforms, and goes to help Cat Noir.  We the duo meets, Cat Noir gets use to the new behavior he must show Ladybug.  Treating her as a friend instead of a love interest.  Ladybug uses her lucky charm, and forms a car.  After she gets an idea, Cat Noir and her get inside the car, and drive away from Glaciator.  Ladybug attaches him to the car with her yo-yo, and Cat Noir gets out of the car, while Ladybug gives him the time he needs.  He puts a billboard in front of an air duck, so Ladybug can drive over.  She also tells him that she has no problems calling her My Lady.  She drives the car underneath Glaciator's legs, and drag him across the street.  She drives on the ramp, over the air duck, and the hot air melts Glaciator.  When Andre is revealed, Cat Noir cataclysms the ice cream scooper.  Ladybug then opens her yo-yo, spins it around, captures the megakuma, frees it from evil, and says a nice goodbye as it flies away.  She uses Miraculous Ladybug, and this time, gives Andre a magical charm.  The duo leaves, as Marinette is back at her when Cat Noir arrives.  They are ready to do the love confession.  She starts to recite her speech, but stops when she realizes that this is not her.  And now comes one of my all time favorite Marinette moments.  Marinette delivers a truthful, honest, and absolute sweet speech as her confession to Adrien.  This scene itself is one of reasons why I think Mari does love Adrien.  What she said her was from her heart, and it was glorious.  Cat Noir loved the speech, and tells her that her "boyfriend" is lucky.  Marinette wishes Cat the best of luck with his love, and he leaves(And at long last, here is the rewritten ending for Glaciator 2.0).

At fencing class the next day, Adrien is back to normal.  He is focused on fencing, and not sad at all anymore.  He and Kagami fence, and Adrien successfully defeats her this time.  She removes her mask.  "Looks like you back on target, Adrien."  Kagami said.  "Yes.  I just had a bad day yesterday.  That's all.  Don't tell me your......intimated of me?"  Adrien asked.  "You wish."  Kagami replied as they start the next fight.  Later that night, Cat Noir meets up with Ladybug.  They meet on the same rooftop where Ladybug screamed at him about his love for her.  "So, you said you wanted to talk to me, Cat Noir?"  Ladybug asked as she sits down next to Cat Noir.  "Not want. I need to talk to you Ladybug.  I just want to officially tell you that I am done falling in love with you.  I know you keep telling me you love someone else, but I just keep trying to confess to you.  Even when you had enough, I didn't stop.  You had every right to yell at me here in this spot, and I understand how uncomfortable I have made you feel.  So, I'm done.  I am no longer in love with you, Ladybug.  But, that doesn't mean this will affect our friendship.  You are the most special friend I can think of in my life.  And it would horrify me if that was taken away."  Cat Noir replied.  Ladybug smiles.  "I'm glad you stopped.  And it's ok. There is no way this is going to hurt us.  Or anything else."  Ladybug said.  Ladybug looks up at the moon.  "I mean, you did in fact shatter my heart into a million pieces.  You fought me.  You wouldn't listen to me.  And you destroyed the one thing I loved in this world.  Your love for me, Marinette."  Cat Noir said.  Ladybug is shocked, and then she turns at Cat Noir.  Terrified at what he said.  "Wha.......What?"  Ladybug asked in shock.  "What's the matter?  Not happy to see your boyfriend again?  Or do I frighten you, My Lady?"  Cat Noir asked.  Ladybug gets up, as does Cat Noir.  She looks around, and is even more horrified.  The whole city is underwater, dead stone corpses at the bottom, and a broken moon.  "If only you gave me your miraculous, we could be together again.  We could still be in love again.  But instead, you took my akuma, and left me here.  Left me to rot in this world that was once ours.  And you pretend THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM!!!!!!!"  Cat Noir screamed.  "No, NO, This can't be happen.  This is not real."  Ladybug said.  "Oh really.  Then how can I do this?"  Cat Noir asked.  He grabs Ladybug by the throat, and pins her against the wall.  He hold her tight, and stares are her menacing.  "I actually want to thank you for making me see the truth.  The truth that love.....never makes people happy.  People only love, so they can get what they want from others.  You never liked me.  You NEVER LOVED me!!!!  So, what's the point of this miserable world.  I guess.........destroying it.........just like you destroyed my feelings."  Cat Noir said.  Cat Noir then starts to form white all over his body.  His hair turns white, his whole outfit turns white, and his beautiful green eyes, turn to a devilish blue.  The sight of her partner transforming into Cat Blanc sends pure trauma to Ladybug.  He activates a cataclysm within his hand.  Ladybug screams for him to stop, but he refuses.  With one final scream, Cat Blanc touches Ladybug with his cataclysm hand. Ladybug starts turning into a stone statue. Crying and begging for Cat to stop. But he doesn't.  "Ladybug, Ladybug, LADYBUG!!!!!!"  Cat Noir shouted as he shakes Ladybug.  Ladybug then wakes up, and sees Cat Noir.  "My Lady, are you ok?  You blacked out for a minute, and I was worried about you."  Cat Noir asked.  Ladybug gets frightened at Cat Noir.  "I'm........fine.  I am just fine."  Ladybug replied as she gets up, and leaves Cat Noir.  Cat Noir expresses concern for Ladybug, as he gets up, and leaves.  No longer the flirty kitty he is for her.
