(Now comes an episode that has one of the biggest plot holes in the show. I will agree that Natalie and Gabriel's idea to spy on their enemies is genius. It is smart for a villain to take advantage of the information they have at their disposal. Especially since in the original show, they know six to seven identities. So, why is creating Optigami a plot hole? Well the fact they did this ONLY NOW. Why not before? They really don't tell us, but if there is a reason I would want to know. So, I need to rewrite this not only to fix a problem, but also because in this version, Chloe and Kagami are the only identities the villains know about. So I need to make rational sense here. With all that explained, please enjoy).
Gabriel enters the study, where Natalie is putting pictures on a whiteboard. "Natalie, how is progress going?" Gabriel asked. "Fantastic, sir. I have been working hard putting the pieces of the puzzle together. But here is where we are at." Natalie replied. He shows Gabriel the whiteboard. The whiteboard is about Natalie trying to theorize Ladybug's team of superheroes' identities. "According to the events of Miraculous Menace and Mega Leech, Ladybug is shown to still call heroes whose identities have been revealed." Natalie said. She gives Gabriel a tablet, which plays the events of Mega Leech. In which, Queen Bee and Ryuko joined the fight(Reminder, at the end of Miraculous Menace, Ladybug said she is going to allow Chloe and Kagami be heroes again. Her reason is that now she is the guardian, she needs the most help she can get. Reread it if you need to). "Ah, I remember that day. I wonder why she would make a rookie move?" Gabriel asked. "Not sure, but it doesn't matter. This fight gave me the inspiration to create this whiteboard. Since Ladybug and Cat Noir are kids, it would make sense for them to choose them as heroes. And with Chloe and Kagami the same age and class as Adrien, that could mean that the other heroes are in there as well." Natalie replied. On her whiteboard, she shows the people she theorizes to be heroes. She got some right, Alya as Rena Rouge, Nino as Carapace, and Kim as King Monkey. The other heroes are either wrong, or undecided yet. "Some of these are probably wrong, but still, I am certain the rest are in Adrien's class." Natalie said. "Good work, Natalie. With this info, I can now pull off the next phase of my plan. Today, Adrien is going to be awarded for Style Queen magazine at the news building. Audrey will be hosting the event, which makes my plan better. All I have to do is bring Adrien and his class to this event, and wait for Ladybug and her team to arrive. However, how is she going to collect her team, if they all really are in one spot? This is how we will determine if they are heroes or not." Gabriel replied. "Ok, but there is one problem, how are you going to spy on them without getting caught?" Natalie asked. "Piece of cake. With the Peacock miraculous fixed, I can now use it at its full power. I remember Emilie showing me this in the grimoire, before the Peacock miraculous got broken. She told me that using a broken miraculous at its full power, will result in even more deadly damage. Damage more painful than the ones you are experiencing. You will still get hurt using it, but not as bad at using it at full power. Which Emilie told me will have a high chance of killing you. When you were Mayura, you played it safe by creating basic senti-monsters like Reflekdoll and Rage Ravager. That can be seen as using only 50% of its powers. The senti-monsters I have been creating like Mega Leech and Guilitrip can be seen using 100% of its power. That is because the miraculous is fixed, so I can use its full power without getting hurt at all." Gabriel replied(Now, let me explain this better. Another issue with this episode is the fact that they could have done with when it was broken. However, that would make a bigger plot hole if they can do that. So, I decided to have it say that using a broken miraculous at it's full power will make things worse for the holder. So if Mayura made let's say Mega Leech, she would be suffering even more because the senti-monster looks and seems more powerful than the ones in Season 3. In other words, she would have a higher chance of death or worse. The Season 3 senti-monsters looked pretty basic. Season 4 senti-monsters are more specific and powerful than the ones from Season 3. That can logically explain why they couldn't make Optigami in the past. It will hurt the holder even more. Now you will ask, by full power you mean full potential just Essence said in Essence 2.0? No, not at all. It will still hurt them without a doubt at their full potential, but here full power is like Ladybug and Cat Noir's normal lucky charm and cataclysm. Pretty basic, but more powerful if they were not broken. If they were broken, then they would have a certain limit, or else they will be brutally injured. Besides, they have no idea about the Butterfly and Peacocks' full potential for the time being. I am just doing the best I can to explain this without any plot holes. I hope you understand what I was going for here). "Intriguing." Natalie said. "So, sit back, and relax, as I get the show started." Gabriel replied.
