Miraculous Ladybug Season 4: The Collusion of Trauma

Pitch Black(original story by me)

An alarm clock starts to beep at 6:00 am.  A hand reaches out, and turns off the alarm clock.  The person then gets up, and does a stretch to get nice and comfortable.  He gets out of bed, and goes to his bathroom.  He turns on the shower, so he can look good for the day.  After his shower, he gets out, puts on a robe, and stands in front of his sink.  He brushes his teeth, cleans out his ears, combs his hair, and puts a cream on his face.  He then goes to his closet, and picks out the clothing he wants to wear for the day.  He picks out a pair for black pants, a black blue cashmere sweater hoodie, and a familiar I Heart Horror Movies shirt.  He looks at his phone.  "Ok, 10 til 6:30.  Right on time."  Jack said.  Jack makes his bed, and his bathroom.  He then walks to his private movie theater, and cleans up the popcorn on his chair.  After he throws that away, he packs his backpack for school.  As well as his already packed black duffle bag.  Ready to go, Jack leaves his hotel room, and goes to the dining room for breakfast.  He sits at a table.  "Good morning, Mr. Edgers."  John said as he arrives at Jack's table.  "I already told you, John, call me Jack.  I'm not even that fancy anyway."  Jack replied.  "Of course, Jack.  I assume it will be the usual for the day?"  John asked.  "As always.  Raspberry pancakes, extra sauce, fresh sausage, French bread with a side of butter, and a water to stay hydrated."  Jack replied.  "Excellent."  John said as he leaves.  As Jack waits, he pulls out his cell phone.  He goes to his camera, and scrolls through photos.  His recent photos are of him, and his friends here in Paris.  One is where he, Max, Rose, and Juelka went to the Ferris wheel, another him, Alya, Nino, Ivan, and Mylene getting ice cream at Andre's, and one of him and all of his friends at Kitty Sections concert.  The photos go on forever, and Jack smiles as he scrolls through more of them.  "Your breakfast, Jack."  John said as he delivers Jack his meal.  "Ohh......John.  You scared me."  Jack replied.  "Oh, then I heavily apologize for frightening you."  John said.  "It's cool.  I get frightened all the time.  And that is because I love horror films.  It's on my shirt."  Jack replied as he shows John.  "Understood.  Well,I better leave you to your work then."  John said.  "Thanks.  Oh, and John.  I already cleaned my hotel room.  Room 64.  So, no need to send anyone up there."  Jack said.  "Really?  I don't get why you won't let us do it for you.  I mean, you have been cleaning your room ever since you arrived in Paris.  No one has even gone inside of your room."  John replied.  "I am a private person.  It's just my thing."  Jack said.  "Of course.  Well, thanks for informing me."  John replied as he leaves.  Jack then grabs his fork and knife, and starts to savor his breakfast.  After he finishes his meal, he goes to the lobby to walk to school.  He checks his phone, and as he walks, he accidentally bumps into someone.  "Oh, shot.  Sorry about that.  I was distracted, and...."  Jack said.  "It's ok."  The person replied.  Jack looks, and sees that it is his friend, Chloe.  "Chloe?  Chloe.  It's just you.  Again, sorry for bumping into you."  Jack said.  "It's not big deal really.  I assume you are going off to school?"  Chloe asked.  "First of all, good morning.  Second of all, yes.  And I assume your waiting for your limousine to drive you?"  Jack asked back.  "Yeah, but it is beautiful outside, and school is only a good ten to fifteen minute walk from here.  I was thinking I can actually walk today."  Chloe replied.  "Oh cool.  Want to go with me?"  Jack asked.  "Sure.  We are friends after all."  Chloe replied.  "Great.  We have thirty minutes til school starts, so we should be fine if we walk."  Jack said.  Jack and Chloe leave the hotel, and start their walk to school.  Approximately ten minutes past by.  "Ok, we should be two blocks away from school, and it is only 7:45.  We'll be there in like five minutes."  Jack said.  "Awesome.  So what have you been up to recently?"  Chloe asked.  "Nothing much.  Usually just finishing my homework to binge horror films and rom coms.  I am most a horror movie guy, but I might want a little romance in my life.  Apart from that, I have been kind of worried about the time Essence chucked me against a wall.  I actually thought he was going to kill me."  Jack said.  "I know.  It was crazy of you to save Ladybug from Essence.  Just like me when I saved Ladybug from Bubbler."  Chloe said.  "Oh yeah.  I forgot.  On that topic, have you and the others been bonding well?"  Jack asked.  "Totally.  Sabrina is still my BFF.  My actual BFF, and we occasionally hang out after school.  Normally she would come over, we would watch movies, take selfies, or play superheroes.  But apart from her, I have been doing pretty well with the guys at school.  Did you know I stared in one of Alya's ladyblogs?"  Chloe asked back.  "You did?  Can I see it?"  Jack asked back.  "Of course."  Chloe replied.  They stop at a stop light, so Chloe can show Jack the video.  There, Chloe was invited to talk about the good people can do, even if they aren't a superhero.  "How ironic that you were chosen for this blog.  Considering you use to be a superhero, but have been doing a lot of good."  Jack said.  "Well, kind of.  I have done a lot of good in Paris.  [shown in flashback].  There was that time I volunteered to help plant trees in the park for my Daddy's new tree project.  The one that use to be Project Oxygen.  [end flashback].  But apart from that, Ladybug allows me to be Queen Bee again."  Chloe replied.  "Really?  But, doesn't Shadowmoth know who you are?"  Jack asked.  "Yeah, but she allowed me to do it again because she needs as much help as possible.  Something about becoming the new guardian of something.  I'm not really sure."  Chloe replied.  "Boy.  Paris really is known for their superheroes.  And now there is some kind of guardian in the mix.  This is just complicated at this point."  Jack said.  "That's the way it is.  But hey, as along as Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the other heroes are here, everyone will be safe."  The lights turns green, so Jack and Chloe continue to walk.
