As the pair left the room, Xie Lian suddenly questioned to himself, "Huh, where is San Lang?" Jiu Limimg suggested "Probably at Gambler's Den. Want to surprise him?" Xie Lian thought about it for a while but finally concluded "Yes, I've been wanting to explore Ghost City more anyways. Perhaps we can all venture around Ghost City." Jiu Liming grabbed Xie Lian's hand and responded "I could show you alone, but the gods might find me."
"Oh."
Xie Lian remembered that Jiu Liming was secretly at Ghost City, so she couldn't stay very long. While wandering the streets of Ghost City, Xie Lian would occasionally bump into someone and his feathered cloak would pluck them because of how crowded the area was. Nobody yelled at him however, the moment they saw Jiu Liming with Xie Lian they stayed silent. The monsters and spirits in Ghost City were aware Jiu Liming was someone of high authority, not because she was a god, but because their lord was fond with the girl. Not that Hua Cheng would save Jiu Liming if she needed it, in reality the only reason Hua Cheng keeps Jiu Liming around was originally so that he could find someone.
Xie Lian then bumped into a man who cried out in pain when he felt the feathers, Xie Lian chuckled and awkwardly apologized, but froze on the spot when he saw two ghosts that seemed to be guards. One had dark black hair, that happened to be tied in a small ponytail, the other who seemed shorter by a few inches, has light brown hair that was also tied up. As soon as Jiu Liming caught a glance at them she transformed herself to a beautiful mistress, her attire showed lots of skin and she seemed more like an adult woman. Jiu Liming's hair was covered in jewels and hairpins, confused by the sudden change of looks, Xie Lian took a step back from the two ghosts and questioned in a whisper to Jiu Liming "what are you doing?" Jiu Liming apparently brought a fan along and lightly fanned herself covering the lower half of her face.
"What does it look like I'm doing??"
She giggled in a flirty tone at the two men, Jiu Liming said "Pardon me, I'm trying to meet my Fiancé down the road." Jiu Liming pointed at a shadowy figure walking and vanishing into the crowd. She quickly ran over and exclaimed "Yu'er!~" in a hurry. Xie Lian tried running after her but she was gone, the two ghosts questioned Xie Lian "Who's that?" Xie Lian answered "Ah, just a girl who was going to show me where Gambler's Den was." The two ghosts looked at each other and stated "We know where Gambler's Den is."
"We do?- ow!"
The one with light brown hair smiled intensely at the black haired man, the two nodded. Xie Lian chuckled nervously, "Alright, show me the way."
While they walked Xie Lian questioned "Who are you two?"
"Nan Feng."
"Fu Yao."
Xie Lian laughed lightly, saying "I didn't mean names... I meant what type of ghost are you two?" Nan Feng and Fu Yao looked at one another, one claimed to be a menace ghost and another claimed to be a Wrath. Though, it didn't matter to them. On numerous occasions, the three ghosts would find themselves either at dead ends or walking for hours upon hours. Nan Feng muttered angrily at Fu Yao, "Why the fuck would you say we know where it is when we don't!?" Xie Lian overheard and said "If you don't know where it is, I'll be going now." Before he left, the two ghosts stopped him, asking "What's your name?"
"You should know."
He then left the two gods alone, to stand in place. Mu Qing then finally commented "We were too obvious."
Xie Lian wasn't upset with his two old partners, he wasn't angry for their leaving. Xie Lian felt no hatred for them like he did with most of the gods, he figured it was because Xie Lian was once friends with those gods in disguise. Mu Qing originally left because of his mother, Mu Qing had to take care of her. Feng Xin left because Xie Lian literally told him too, he didn't feel hatred.
