The next morning, Luo Binghe was gone. Shen Qingqiu looked around the room and immediately got worried that he left the room and forgot where he was suddenly. Shang Juan was still in the bed sleeping comfortingly beside Shen Qingqiu. He quickly tossed the blanket over him and onto her, startling her awake. Shang Juan shot her eyes open sitting up, watching Shen Qingqiu leave the room in a hurry only in his sleeping clothing.
When Shen Qingqiu searched around the entire house, he didn't see a trace of Luo Binghe around. Assuming that Luo Binghe left outside, he ran out to see no Luo Binghe, but an injured Liu Qingge. Rushing to Liu Qingge's side, Shen Qingqiu helped him up and tried speaking to him slowly to check the other was able to explain the events that unfolded. Liu Qingge coughed out blood trying to speak, but was too exhausted from his wounds and didn't say anything. Shen Qingqiu rushed him inside while Shang Juan was leaving the room while stretching.
Shen Qingqiu healed Liu Qingge enough so that the other could at least stop bleeding. Once Liu Qingge began breathing normally, he exclaimed "Luo Binghe! He's..! I... I don't know how to describe it but!-" Shen Qingqiu grabbed Liu Qingge by the shoulders tightly and exclaimed "Binghe?? What happened!? Where is he?!" Liu Qingge explained "He... just attacked me..! He was heading towards Mobei-Jun! I was close so I was able to sneak away but..." Shen Qingqiu nodded, instructing "Shang Juan, take care of Liu Qingge's wounds, my cultivation might've healed it but it might reopen, occasionally give Liu Qingge water and make sure to put pressure on his would if it opens." As soon as he said that to the little girl who barely woke up, he rushed in his room, changed into his regular clothing, grabbed his fan and sword, and rushed out of the doors. Hopping on his sword he rushed to Mobei Jun's castle while Shang Juan was left alone with Liu Qingge.
When Shen Qingqiu arrived, he saw Luo Binghe speaking with Mobei normally, as if nothing went wrong, as if he didn't just almost kill Liu Qingge. From afar, Shen Qingqiu happily and angrily called out to Luo Binghe, screaming "Binghe!!" Said man turned his head and Shen Qingqiu realized this wasn't his husband that loved and wanted to be doted on. It seemed like the husband that had once killed Shen Qingqiu before, his eyes cold. Immediately, his first instinct was to run as always, however he took steps closer to Luo Binghe. The closer he got the more the coldness in Luo Binghe's eyes became. Shen Qingqiu walked up to both Mobei Jun and Luo Binghe, and sternly questioned "Binghe, why did you attack Liu Qingge?" Luo Binghe seemed a bit surprised at this accusation, he replied "I didn't." Shen Qingqiu wondered if he was telling the truth, or if his amnesia was settling in. Mobei Jun, who was right in front of the two watched as they conversed with one another.
"Why is Liu Qingge injured on our doorstep?"
"Our?"
Luo Binghe questioned, Shen Qingqiu sighed knowing the amnesia had something to play in this. Shen Qingqiu explained "Then— why don't you stay with Mobei Jun tonight?" The two demons looked at each other and both equally replied "No."
"Huh? Why?"
Luo Binghe explained "because I'm staying with Gongyi Xiao's sect." Shen Qingqiu was confused where Luo Binghe's mindset was at so he only nodded and agreed, suddenly Luo Binghe questioned "why is shizun searching for me?" Shen Qingqiu responded "Something occurred and I had to find you...." Luo Binghe nodded and walked past Shen Qingqiu.
The man sighed while Mobei Jun was going to close the door before Shang Qinghua stopped him, he scolded his husband "don't just leave him there!" The demon looked away while being scolded, Shen Qingqiu was let into the castle and Shang Qinghua offered tea to Shen Qingqiu. He replied "no..." Shang Qinghua quietly asked "Did he not remember you...?" Shen Qingqiu answered "sort of. His mindset is that of when he was pushed off and came back 3 years later." Shang Qinghua nodded sighing. The two sat in silence while Mobei Jun left them alone, not sure how to deal with humans.
