Till and Ivan were on a small hill that shadowed a park. The two had gotten into a fight because Ivan stole one of Till's pencils (again). Ivan laughed before laying down, enjoying the sky's orange/pink color.
"I'm gonna pass out for a bit, wake me up when its really dark."
Ivan closed his eyes and slept peacefully in the fetal position. Till grumbled an insult before also lying down. A few minutes later, Till was sure it was too dark to stay out, so he tried waking Ivan. To no avail of course.
Till then had the idea to pick up Ivan to drop him back down.
When Till picked up Ivan's sleeping body off the grass, a flood of memories entered his brain.
They were his memories, but also not?
Till looked down at Ivan, who slept without a care in the world... Till saw differently, what he saw was his friend dying. Till instinctively shook Ivan violently to awake him, panicked filled Till's eyes, it made him anxious to see Ivan sleep so soundly with a smile.
A smile.
When Ivan awoke he lightly groaned, "what's up?" Till was sweating profusely, his legs went numb with relief as he saw his friend hadn't died.
"Oh, nothing. It's just dark out. You wanted me to wake you up right?
Till excused, Ivan giggled.
"I did, I almost forgot."
Ivan said, Till frowned, knowing Ivan was lying. It was already dawn, so they'd have to return home, but Till was still anxious to be alone.
Why was he so anxious?
Surely the "memories" he saw earlier were just him imagining things.
Yet a part of Till knew that wasn't true.
Till meekly asked, "uh, why don't you sleep over at my house?" Ivan perked his eyes up, "seriously?" "Yes, seriously."
Till knew the sudden invitation was strange, but after the horrifying memories, could you blame him for needing someone- specifically the person who died in front of you, to stay with you?
Before Till died in "ALIEN STAGE", he was never this hungry for comfort. Maybe living in a modern world softened him a bit.
Ivan thought for a moment, seemingly trying to decide his next move, which was so like him.
"Maybe, I'll ask my parents."
Till almost forgot that he and Ivan even had parents.
"Ah, alright. I'll wait by the park."
Till replied, making his way down to the park.
After a few minutes had passed, Ivan came down, exclaiminf, "my parents said yes!" He then softened his voice and added, "but only for a night."
That was fine, considering Till would see Mizi tomorrow anyways.
Mizi...
He missed her.
Past life him must've had good taste, considering he currently still had a crush on Mizi.
Till gestured for Ivan to tag along, "c'mon." Ivan followed.
At Till's house, his mother opened the door. Her long grayish hair covered most of her face, but he could still see her eyes. Till had seen his mom every time he returned home, but after recalling his previous life, he almost teared up at the sight of his mom.
Till hugged his mom suddenly, she laughed, confused by the sudden affection.
"What's wrong sweetie?"
She nervously laughed, Till squeezed her tight, not replying to her.
