It was my birthday today.

And the kingdom was bustling and busy getting ready for my birthday. Even though I always just recommend normal small birthdays every year, Leonard on the other hoof, always wanted celebrations like these to be extravagant.

The citizens of Pig Island are invited to the castle for food, drinks, and partying.

Leonard this year requested Steve Aoinki to come and DJ for us.

The party will go on till midnight and then everyone goes home, leaving a huge mess.

I was in the master bathroom, getting ready to go to bed. As I left the restroom, I let out a yawn, "Man, I am ready to hit the hay."

I noticed Leonard was sitting at the edge of the bed. Hiding something behind his back as he had a wide grin on his face.

I raised an eyebrow at him as I couldn't help but smile, "What are you doing?"

"Come sit! I want to give you a birthday present." Leonard smiled.

I rolled my eyes as I sat beside him, "Leonard...you know you don't have to get me anything. You being here is all I ever ask for."

Leonard lets out a chuckle, "Yeah, I know. But I still want to give you this." He placed the present in front of him, revealing a stuffed (ANIMAL). It had a cute (COLOR) bow around it.

I gasped as I smiled. I carefully grabbed the stuffed animal and hugged the plush as a reflex and when I did, I noticed a distinct scent.

I looked at the stuffed (ANIMAL) again and placed it close to my snout as I smelled it.

"L-Leonard...this is..." I trailed off as I stared at the plushie.

I started to cry as I began to recognize it. It used to be my mother's, who passed away a long time ago. She gave it to me when I was a piglet, I always just let it sit in her house, but when she passed, everything in the house was sold. Unfortunately, before I realized I left it behind, someone had already bought it.

"How did you find this?" I sobbed out.

"I tracked it down. It took a while, but it wasn't hard getting it back...considering I am king after all." Leonard replied, as he gives me snotty smile.

I threw my arms around Leonard as I laugh, for being so happy, "This is the most amazing and greatest gift ever. But..."

Leonard pulled a back a bit, and looked at me as he had a worried face, "But what?"

I smiled at him, "You're the most amazing and greatest gift of all time. I'm so lucky to have you. I know it sounds all corny, but I just can't help it. Every time I see you, it just feels like the first time I met you."

"Awkward and nervous?" Leonard chuckled.

I shook my head as I got close to him, "No, it just feels like I'm falling in love...all over again."

Leonard started to lean in closer too, with a smirk on his face, "Well, I guess that makes two of us."

We both started to kiss each other softly and through out the night...let us just say, instead of hitting the hay. We rolled around in it.
