Red sighed as he tries and figure out what kind of fun activities to do with you tomorrow.

Never having a girlfriend before, he always had trouble coming up with ideas. He didn't want to be too repetitive and boring. You guys already had gone to the movies, had late-night picnics, and dinners at restaurants together every weekend and it was just doing all that in the span of a month. So, what else should he do? Red could ask you but he wanted this to be more of a surprise.

Red smiled as an idea came to him. He left his house and headed toward Avain Academy. It was still early in the day, so Red made his way to the engineering building. Hoping to find the bird he was looking for. Once he entered the engineering building, he headed towards one of the lecture halls.

"She should be in there..." Red muttered to himself. He heard the familiar voice and smiled. Once he got closer he noticed that there was a class in session. So, Red waited until the teacher's assistant dismissed them.

"Alright, everyone. We will continue this on Monday! Have a great weekend!"

There was a lot of rustling as the students shoved their notebooks and pencils in their bags and started to leave the lecture hall.

Red waited until everyone left, once he knew the room was empty, he walked in. He smiled and waved at the bird who seemed to be cleaning up for the next professor, "Hey, Silver! How's being a TA coming along?"

The silver and pink bird looked up and smiled, "Red! It's going great!" She then furrowed her eyebrows, confused, "Why are you here?"

Red awkwardly rubbed his wing as he glances away from the bird, "Well, I know you've been best friends with my girlfriend for a while and I was wondering if you could help me figure out what kind of stuff she likes to do."

Silver pondered thoughtfully as she tried to come up with an answer. Her eyes lit up once the idea came to her, "How about taking her stargazing!"

"Stargazing?"

Silver nodded as she pulled out her laptop from her bag, and placed it on the desk. She opened it and started tapping away. Once pressing enter and a couple of clicks she turned the laptop towards Red, "Actually, tomorrow night, there's going to be a meteor shower called the Orionids. They usually show up at around after midnight."

Red nodded, piquing his interest, "Alright, that definitely sounds like something she would like," he said as he grinned.

"Yeah!" Silver nodded, "She told me she always wanted to go see a meteor shower, but she never got around to it."

"That's perfect! Thanks, Silver!"

"Of course!" Silver smiled. She looked up and noticed the next class was coming in, "Oh! We should leave, the ne--"

Red also immediately noticed the other birds coming in. "Oh! Right." Red acknowledged, he headed toward one of the doors and turned to Silver, "I'll see ya around! Thanks again!" Red smiled, giving a wave.

Silver waved back with a grin. "No problem, Red! See ya!"

The next night, Red was preparing for everything. He gathered some cozy fluffy blankets as well as his bag and went over to your house.

You heard a knock at the door, you knew it was your boyfriend. I mean, who would be knocking at your door at midnight?

You ran over to the door and swung it open and saw him standing on the other side. You noticed that he was carrying some blankets, making you smile and excited. He wouldn't tell you where you guys were going or what you guys were doing. But you had a feeling that it might have to do with the stars.

Red and you were heading toward Hero Mountain. On the way, you guys laughed and joked. Talked about your day and other random things that came to your guys' minds. Before you both knew it. You were already at the base of the mountain.

The next step was to climb all the way to the top. Red wanted to go higher than last time when you both went to Hero Mountain and you were up for the challenge.

You both made your way up to the top of the giant mountain statue, which happens to be the one that was Red. The sky was already getting darker and the air started to become slightly cooler. There wasn't a single cloud in sight.

Red laid down one of the blankets on the cold stone and sat down on it, pulling his bag in front of him and opening it up. You sat beside him as he started to take out a bottle of wine along with a lunch bag.

"Wow, you really thought this through, huh?" You giggled.

Red laughed, "Well, yeah! Gotta come prepared."

He started to place the other blanket on top of you and himself, wrapping it around you two. Keeping yourselves warm from the cold breeze as the sun was gone and the stars started to appear. You stared up above you, enamored by the beautiful twinkling little dots in the sky as they filled up the dark space.

"Ah, crap," Red muttered.

You looked over, wondering what was wrong.

"I forgot the wine glasses..."

Letting out a laugh, you leaned over and grabbed the wine bottle, and pulled out the cork with your beak as it made a pop sound. You spat it out and smirked at Red, "It's alright. Never stopped me from enjoying it." You leaned the bottle and started to drink out of it.

Red just rolled his eyes at you as he chuckled. You handed him the bottle as he also takes a swig out of it, letting out a satisfying sigh.

You both returned your attention to the sky, continuing to admire the stars. Red started to feel a bit impatient though, he wanted to see the meteor showers. Just when he was about to comment on it, little lights flew across the sky. You gasped as your eyes went wide as your beak curled up into a smile. This was the first time that you and Red witnessed something like this. It was also always something you wanted to do for a long time. You and Red saw about a few little dots flying across the sky as they came by and eventually disappeared. Every few minutes, another cluster of them will show up and fly across. You tried to count them and noticed about fifty-six to seventy at every hour. Red and you began to lay down and cuddled under the warm blanket as you continued to stargaze and watch the meteor shower continue on.

"Red, this is amazing. Thank you." You murmured.

You felt him squeeze you a bit tighter as he gave you a soft kiss on top of your head, "Of course. I wanted to do something special for you."

You chuckled a little, "Well, I know you don't like cheesy stuff, but just being with you makes every moment special."

"Ugh, that was really cheesy," Red admitted with a laugh, making you pout a little bit in embarrassment. But he continued, "It's alright. I like your cheesiness."

You giggled, snuggling closer to Red, "I love you, you dork."

"I love you, too. Dummy."

Red and you continued to lay there and watched the sky. Eventually, falling asleep together underneath the stars.
