I have a massive crush on Bomb. I'm not sure why, but I suppose his weird dirt-eating hobby and his overall dorky personality was attractive to me.

At this moment, I was hiding behind a tree like an idiot. Bomb was just a few feet away, looking at the apples at The Apple Store but I was scared to approach him. Not like I've talked to him a million times before. However, this time was different. This time, I will ask him to watch a movie with me at my place. Even though that was also something we always did, although, this time, this time was different. This time, I will tell him how I feel.

I pressed my back against the tree as I breathed in through my nostrils and exhaled out my beak, I walked out behind the tree only to realize that Bomb disappeared. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and scanned the area. "What the heck?"

"Hey, (Y/N)."

"WAH!" I yelped as I swung my body, turning around.

Bomb was just standing there behind me with a smile, "What are you doing?" It seemed like he was completely oblivious to how panicky I must look.

I collected my composure and grinned, "I was just looking for you!"

"Me?" He asked as he began to smile widely.

I nodded at him. "Yeah! I was going to ask if you wanted to have a movie marathon night with me--at my place?" I quickly added, "If you're not busy or anything!"

"Sure! That sounds fun! I can bring the snacks."

I beamed, "Great!" I began to take a few awkward steps back, "I-uh I'll see you around seven PM then?"

"Okay! Cya!" Bomb waved goodbye.

I waved back and then turned around. I then let out a sigh, I didn't realize that I was holding a lot of my breath. I was very nervous because it was Red and Chuck, our mutual friends, that pushed me to do this. Let's be honest, Bomb is a pretty oblivious guy. He wasn't going to make the first move or maybe, who knows? But I made Red and Chuck swore that they won't tell Bomb anything about my feelings for him because I wanted to make sure I was ready and that this confession comes from me and me only.

The sun was setting down and it was getting close to that time. The clock on my wall was ticking, making me feel anxious as the small hand on the clock gets close to the number seven. I picked out our favorite superhero movie series. If we were to watch each and every single one it would take about fifty hours in total. Impossible? No. Practical? Undoubtedly not! Will we still try anyways? Absolutely!

I heard a knock at my door, causing my heart to jump in my chest. He was here! At least I assumed so. I wasn't expecting anyone else.

I made my way to the entrance of my home and opened it, revealing my friend, "Hi! I got the snacks!" he announced.

"And I got the movies!" I spoke in a sing-song voice. "Superheroes okay?"

Bomb nodded his head as his beak curled up into a smile, "Oh yeah! You can never go wrong with superheroes!"

I stood to the side, allowing the bird inside my house, "Thought you might say that." I closed the door behind him and made my way over to the couch, sitting down comfortably as I grabbed the TV remote off the coffee table.

Bomb threw all the many snacks onto the small table and grabbed a random bag, opening it. He leaned the bag towards me, silently telling me to grab some of the contents inside. I shoved my wing in the bag without hesitation, grabbed a few, and stuffed the sweet snack in my beak, "Thanks!"

I clicked on the remote and navigated through the TV's options and finally got to the first movie we were going to watch. It's been a while since Bomb and I watched any of the movies. We laughed, gasped in shock, and made the occasional comment.
