"Chuuuucck!" I laughed as he drags me somewhere, I was blindfolded and had no idea where I was going.

"We're almost there!" Chuck exclaimed. It seemed like he was going faster now. But luckily, I was able to keep up. We eventually stopped and the blindfold quickly disappeared, "Tada!" Chuck sang.

I covered my beak with my wings as I let out a gasp, "Oh, my...Chuck."

In front of me was a small clearing and in the middle was a round tree trunk with two smaller ones serving as chairs. On the trees were hanging lanterns and soft gently twinkling fairy lights that glowed like lightning bugs.

The makeshift trunk table had small lit candles and a red table runner laid on top with two glasses.

Chuck gently grabbed my wing and led me to the table. He helped me sit down first and then he zoomed to his seat and sat down.

"Chuck, this...this is--"

"Amazing? Awesome?!"

"Beautiful." I finished, smiling at him.

"Not as beautiful as you though." Chuck grinned.

I rolled my eyes at the cheesy compliment, but I loved it.

Chuck started to lean to the side, grabbing a plate with a cloche on top. He lifted up the cloche and revealed my favorite food. Chuck also brought out a bottle of my favorite champagne. He popped it open and poured the contents into mine and then into his.

"Thanks, Chuck." I smiled.

Chuck lifted up his glass as he had a soft smile, "Cheers to three years."

I lifted my glass up as well, giving Chuck a grin, "And for many more."

We clinked our glasses together and I began to lift the glass against my beak.

"Hey, (Y/N)?" Chuck called out to me as I was taking a sip of my drink.

I replied after placing my champagne glass down, "Yes?" Chuck started to look nervous and it made me nervous as well, "I hope everything is...okay?"

"Yeah! Everything is fine! It's just..." Chuck trailed off as he began to fidget a lot in his tree stump seat. He then suddenly appeared by my side, as if he teleported, but it was just because he moves so fast.

I noticed Chuck on one of his knees and his wings were behind his back. He looked at me, not leaving his gaze as he had a warm smile on his face, "(Y/N), When I first met you, you stole my heart. You have been my best friend through the good and the bad. And when we started dating for the past three years, those have been the best days of my life. And being with you made me feel more alive and happy." Chuck spoke in one breath. He took a quick second and seemed like he wanted to slow down, "You know... I always like to go fast and rush things." He chuckled, "But I realized that life already goes by really fast and for the first time in my life, I want to slow down and appreciate everything in life with you and enjoy every second of it. And for the rest of our lives, I hope." Chuck started to reveal what was behind his back.

I covered my beak with my wings in shock as my already teary eyes went wide, "Chuck..." I whispered between my feathers.

"(Y/N)? Would you marry me?"

Those simple words caused my tears to slip out of my eyes, I started to nod, "Yes! Of course!" I leaned forward and jumped into Chuck, knocking him to the ground.

We both started to laugh loudly like little hatchlings. I sat up, letting Chuck sit up as well. He grabbed my left wing and lifted it up, he then slipped the ring onto my feathered finger perfectly. Once he was done, I grabbed onto Chuck's face and kissed him.

I pulled back from the kiss as I leaned my forehead head against his, "I love you, Chuck."

Chuck smiled at me and gave me a short kiss, "I love you more." Chuck began to stand up and helped me up as well, "Should we continue our dinner?"

I grinned and nodded, "We shall."
