I let out a blood curling screech. It was so loud, if I were to check outside, the birds passing by would of stared at my house.

Anyways, back to me screaming.

Red must of been nearby because he jumped through my window.

He stood up, looking around the area, "What's wrong?!"

I just pointed at my wall, it was a big fat roach that was crawling right beside Red.

He let out a little yelp as he stumbled back a bit, "Okay, don't worry. I got this." He looked around the area, to use something against the bug.

I saw my fly swatter and quickly handed it to him.

He firmly grasped it and raised it up as he carefully made his way towards the bug. With a swift movement, he smashed the bug, causing me to let out a yelp.

Red turned his head towards me as he smiled, "There! Now he's dead."

He pulled back the fly swatter, but when he did the bug wasn't on the wall. Red slowly turned the swatter and the roach turned itself over and started to quickly crawl down the handle.

Red let out a shout and threw the swatter to the side. But that just caused the horrendous bug to take flight. Red and I just screamed on top of our lungs. I quickly ran towards my door, opening it and leaving.

"Wait for me!" Red screamed as he shot out the door behind me.

We just kept on running. Eventually, we stopped and I was huffing along with Red. We looked at each other for a moment and started to laugh.

"Haaaa, I guess he'll have my house...for a while." I sighed.

Red hummed, "Want to stay at my place for a bit? We can watch some Nestflix movies or shows if you want to."

I smiled at Red, "Sure!" As we were walking together I shuddered, "Ugh, I'm going to be paranoid for the next few weeks with that thing in there."

"Well, you can be with me for a while until you're ready to go back home." Red offered, as he gave me a soft smile.

I wrapped my wing with his as I leaned into him, "Thanks, would you mind if you could also spend a few nights at my place after I go back home...y'know. Just in case."

Red let out a chuckle, "No, I don't mind at all."
