Leonard's POV

🎶🎶🎶

It was my wedding today and I was going to marry Salphira. I looked at myself in the mirror while pigs were placing a special white cape with gold accents and my crown on my head.

I sighed as I looked at the mirror sadly as I imagined my Salphira, "🎶She'd take the world off my shoulders. If it was ever hard to move. She'd turn the rain to a rainbow. When I was living in the blue. Why then, if she is so perfect. Do I still wish that it was you?🎶"

I pulled out an old photo of myself and (Y/N) that was folded in half, "🎶Perfect don't mean that it's working. So what can I do?🎶"

I began to stand and was leaving my room, "🎶When you're out of sight. In my mind...🎶"

I stared at a large painting of Salphira and I, out in the hallway, "🎶'Cause sometimes I look in her eyes. And that's where I find a glimpse of us. And I try to fall for her touch. But I'm thinking of the way it was.🎶"

I continued my way, sighing again, "🎶Said I'm fine and said I moved on. I'm only here passing time in her arms. Hoping I'll find a glimpse of us.🎶"

I walked towards the entrance. Where there was the large golden double doors of the castle as I waited for Salphira.

Salphira's POV

I stood in front of my mirror in my long sheer veil attatched to my crown as a tear went down my eye, "🎶You tried so hard to convince me. It's only ever me and you.🎶"

Today was my wedding day and I was getting married to Leonard, your wedding was supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, but it wasn't for me.

I stared at a framed photo of me and Leonard, he wasn't smiling widely, "🎶But I know there's more to the story and I'm not quite the perfect view.🎶"

I began to stand up and walk towards the door, "🎶To me you're the gold, you're the end game and every rainbow leads straight to you.🎶"

I walked out of my room and towards the large double doors and saw Leonard looking at it, "🎶But I'm more the silver, the fall back with so much to lose.🎶"

I stood beside him, he looked at me with a smile, but I saw that sadness in his eyes, "🎶When I'm by your side. She's in your mind.🎶"

I smiled back at him and looked forward, "🎶'Cause sometimes you look in my eyes and all you can find's a glimpse of her.🎶"

Another tear went down my cheek, "🎶Your soul tie has ruined my life but I try to stay blind to numb the heart.🎶"

The doors began to open, we hooked each other's arms and exited the castle, "🎶Said I'm fine but I know when I'm gone. You wonder of she'd ever want to come home.🎶"

The crowd of pigs cheered, seeing us together, I forced a smile at the crowd, "🎶You find in my eyes. A glimpse of her...🎶

In the distance, I caught a glimpse of her...

Leonard's POV

In the distance, I saw (Y/N) and standing beside her was him, "🎶Tell me he savors your glory. Does he laugh the way I did?🎶"

We were getting closer to them and I couldn't help but stare, "🎶Is this a part of your story? One that I had never lived?🎶"

(Y/N) was smiling at him, not seeing me and giving him a peck on his cheek, "🎶Maybe one day you'll feel lonely. And in his eyes, you'll get a glimpse. Maybe you'll start slipping slowly and find me again.🎶"

We began to walk pass them, but I tried my best to ignore them, "🎶When you're out of sight. In my mind...🎶

I looked at Salphira, I gave her a grin, she looked up at me and I could see her smile and those sad glossy eyes, "🎶'Cause sometimes I look in her eyes. And that's where I find a glimpse of us.🎶"

I gripped onto Salphira's arm tighter, looking back in front of me, "🎶And I try to fall for her touch. But I'm thinking of the way it was. Said I'm fine and said I moved on. I'm only here passing time in her arms. Hoping I'll find a glimpse of us.🎶"

We stood in middle of our city as the pig officiate was saying his lines.

"I do." I said.

The pig spoke his lines.

"I do." Salphira replied.

"You may kiss the bride." The officiant announced.

The pigs cheered as we leaned in for the kiss. We pulled back and looked at each other's eyes as we smiled.

But it didn't feel right...

"🎶'Cause sometimes I look in her eyes. And that's where I find a glimpse of us. And I try to fall for her touch. But I'm thinking of the way it was. Said I'm fine and said I moved on. I'm only here passing time in her arms. Hoping I'll find a glimpse of us...🎶"

A tear fell down my cheek. Salphira raised her hoof and wiped it off for me, looking at me with a forced smile as her lips trembled. She hooked my arm gently and we both started to head back to the castle.
