Estelle walked along the flourishing gardens of Imladris. It was something she did daily. Usually, Arwen would join her, but she was out in the stables tending to her horse.

Not a moment later, she felt a wave of dizziness. She groaned and sighed. 'Not today...' She thought and continued her walking.

Estelle hated when this happened. Her foresight worked differently than her father's. She could see glimpses of the future at her own will, but in return, Estelle was warned with dizzy spells before she would become light-headed. Usually, her father would always accompany her if he could when she had her spells but sent her off to a secluded area if he couldn't. Elrond would send either the twins, Arwen, or Lindir to check up on her if he couldn't get away.

After the dizziness, a vision would follow. Not in full, but in pieces. Just parts would be seen. Most of the time she would faint if she wasn't expecting it and her father would sit with her or come find her after a few minutes.

The timing was always different. The time between the dizziness and Estelle actually seeing a vision could range from a couple minutes to even a few hours.

"Lady Estelle?"

The voice startled her, and she whipped around to come face to face with Lindir. "Oh, Lindir. It's just you..." Estelle sighed and gave him a forced smile.

"My lady, are you alright? You were staring off in the distance. Is your foresight bothering you again?" Lindir asked, concern present in his voice.

It was very obvious to practically all of Rivendell that Lindir had feelings for the elleth. Except for Estelle herself.

The elleth only shook her head in response to Lindir's questions. "You know I don't like you addressing me with 'my lady', Lindir. Did you need something?" She folded her hands in front of her.

"My apologies, Estelle. I will be sure to remember this time." He paused and stepped aside to let Estelle walk back inside. "Mithrandir arrived nearly just an hour ago with a company of dwarves lead by Thorin Oakenshield. Master Elrond sent me to ask you to join him and the company for dinner."

Estelle walked past Lindir knowing that he would be close behind. "I will gladly join. Allow me to change my attire and I will make my way to dinner. Will you tell him for me?" She looked over her shoulder at Lindir. He nodded and continued to walk with her.

Lindir escorted her the rest of the way to her chambers before her parted from her and made his way back to Lord Elrond. He found Elrond speaking with Mithrandir just outside the kitchens.

"My Lord Elrond," Lindir spoke up, making the lord turn towards him. Elrond nodded as a gesture for Lindir to continue. "Lady Estelle wished me to tell you that she will be attending dinner in a few minutes."

Lord Elrond smiled before seeing his humble servant's expression. "Wonderful, thank you, Lindir." Elrond said, before he excused himself from Gandalf. He pulled Lindir to the side.

"Is something wrong with Estelle?" Elrond asked, obviously concerned about his daughter.

"It is her foresight again, my lord." Lindir responded in a hushed tone.

Elrond sighed, he hated that his daughter had consequences. Why didn't he have the same difficulty with his foresight? Even after three thousand years of helping and training her, it still affected her. Yes, it was manageable, but some of the images she saw. It was something no man could bare.
