The day grew later as Estelle and Legolas neared the borders of Imladris. Once the twins arrived in Rivendell, they were greeted by fellow elves and Gandalf. "Legolas and Estelle Thranduilion!" He boomed happily. "Good to see you too, Gandalf." Estelle responded and Legolas nodded.

Lindir came forward and bowed his head as a greeting. "Lord Elrond has been expecting you both. He told me to bring Estelle to him once you arrived." The humble servant said quietly, turning and gesturing for Estelle to follow him. "And where is Lord Elrond?" Legolas asked Lindir, butting into the conversation. Lindir then pointed towards the main hall. "He has been in his study the entire morning preparing for the council." He responded. Legolas only nodded in response.

The elleth nodded to him and then turned back to Gandalf and Legolas. "Can I trust you to not bring any trouble?" She asked in the direction of both the wizard and her twin. Legolas rolled his eyes and Gandalf merely chuckled in response. Estelle smiled and looked to Lindir who gave her a smile back. "Let us go then, we wouldn't want to keep Lord Elrond waiting." The elf princess started off in the direction that Lindir was originally going. Lindir quickly bowed his head to Gandalf and Legolas before scurrying off after Estelle.

When the ellon finally caught up, Estelle turned her head to engage in conversation with him. "How have you been Lindir? It has been a while since we have run into each other. I trust that Lord Elrond keeps you busy?" The elleth asks. "Certainly Princess, there are always things to do here in Imladris." The humble servant responded quietly. "Now Lindir, I have told you many times before not to address me as, Princess. We have known each other long enough to drop those formalities. Secondly, you didn't answer my first question. Tell me how you have been Lindir." She stated firmly, wanting to get her point across.

Lindir sighed and felt for the back of his neck. "Well, things have been good in Rivendell. It is peaceful and life seems to still flourish even with the evil growing in the East." He replied. "That is better." Estelle said, giving Lindir a smile as they turned a corner. It was silent as they walked a few more paces down the hall to Lord Elrond's study.

The ellon pivoted as they approached a door. "Here we are, Estelle. I will leave you to speak with him. It was good to see you." Lindir rested his right hand over his heart and bowed his head, smiling at the elleth. Estelle returned the gesture. "I hope to speak to you again soon." She said softly before approaching the door to Elrond's study.

Estelle gently knocked on the door and patiently waited for a response. "You may enter." Came Elrond's sweet and quiet voice from inside the room. Estelle let herself in and she quickly closed the door behind herself. She turned to face Elrond's desk just as he lifted his head from the letters on his desk. His eyes lit up and quickly moved around from his desk.

"Starlight..." He breathed out, seemingly relieved. Being the respectable elf he was, his hand went to his heart, and he bowed his head before his arms were around her embracing her tightly. "And I missed you too, meleth (love)." Estelle said softly, returning the embrace. "I did not know for sure if you would follow your brother here." The comment made Estelle laugh. "I am the captain of the Mirkwood guard. I am tasked with following him everywhere outside our borders. I am sure he is fed up with me being around all the time. He never gets a moment of peace." Estelle laughed again as Elrond's hand made its way to graze over the skin of her cheek. His thumb traced her cheekbone as his eyes found hers.

"Your beauty never ceases to astound me, meleth nin (my love)." Elrond said quietly, as he gazed upon his love. Estelle smiled, taking in the sweet moment.
