It was over. The Fellowship had been successful. The Ring was destroyed, and Sauron was defeated. Estelle could finally breathe. Not a day had gone by without her thinking of Elrond. He was constantly on her mind. She had missed him, and she was just grateful that she was alive to be with him again.

Estelle had decided that she would head straight for Imladris after Aragorn's coronation. Letting Legolas travel home to visit their father and check in; he agreed to do so as long as Gimli would be traveling with him.

"Estelle?" A voice came from behind her as she gazed out at Minas Tirith. She turned to come face to face with Aragorn. "Strider." She offered him a smile and strolled over towards the ranger. "Need something?" Estelle questioned softly, placing her hand on his shoulder.

Aragorn moved her hand to return the gesture. "I've come to ask if you would escort me during the coronation tomorrow..." He paused, waiting to see her reaction. Estelle's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "It would be an honor Aragorn, but why me?" The elleth asked, retracting her hand.

"Estelle, you know you practically raised me. I could see no one else I would want walking with me." Aragorn replied, smiling at Estelle. She returned his smile and then decided to tease him. "I'm sure if Arwen were here, she would gladly be your escort." The elleth laughed while Aragorn only chuckled.

"I think we would both be happier if Arwen was here." He said, leading her out of the room. Estelle smiled; he was right. She always felt very protective and tended to hover over Aragorn, Arwen, and even the twins. The elleth assumed it was because of her relationship with Elrond, but maybe it was just what her heart was telling her what to do. Estelle was around when Aragorn's mother had died. She watched the ranger and Arwen fall in love. She was the one that was always trying to convince Elrond to let Arwen be happy.

"But I know that you would truly be happier if Lord Elrond was here..." The ranger broke her from her thoughts. He hadn't told her that Elrond had visited him with Anduril earlier in their journey.  A light blush spread over the princess' cheeks. "Oh, hush and keep walking!" She muttered, walking ahead of him to the dining hall.

In the dining hall, Estelle spotted her twin quickly walking towards her and Aragorn. "What is the rush, brother dearest?" Estelle asked, raising an eyebrow at her brother. "Nothing, can I not rush to see my twin and our best friend?" He teased back. Estelle rolled her eyes and playfully shoved him.

"Let us go eat, shall we?" Aragorn said after stifling a laugh. The twins both nodded, following after the ranger. Not a moment later, Aragorn was swarmed by Gandalf, the hobbits, Eomer, Eowyn, and Faramir. Estelle turned to Legolas to ask what was happening, but he was already pulling her in the other direction.

"What- Legolas, what are you-" Estelle tried to ask but Legolas shushed her. She groaned and simply followed after him, knowing it was something important if he had everyone else distract Aragorn. He had pulled her all the way out to the castle's balcony. "Legolas! What is the rush?" She exclaimed, pulling her wrist from her brother's grasp.

Legolas then turned around to face his sister. "You have a surprise..." He stated softly. "And both parties have agreed that it could not wait until morning." He mumbled, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Estelle sighed. "Legolas, that is very sweet of you, but I'm sure it could have waited until-" Her brother stepped to the side, revealing another elf. "Morning..." She mumbled the last word of her statement as the moonlight lit up the ellon's face. Tears started to build up as she realized who it was.

Legolas removed his hand from her shoulder and gave her a smile. "Go to him." Her twin said, walking back inside. Estelle turned back to the ellon as tears began to run down her cheeks. "Oh meleth (love), please do not cry." Elrond said softly.

Estelle couldn't wait a moment more. She let out a sob and ran forward, throwing her arms around Elrond's neck. Elves weren't the most affectionate race in Middle-Earth, but at the moment, the lovers didn't mind. Elrond's arms snaked around Estelle's waist, tightening around her and pulling her closer.

"I told you that I would come back." The elleth mumbled into her lover's chest. Elrond chuckled. "I could not wait, nor could Arwen. She is why I am here." He mumbled back, moving one of his hands to gently comb through her hair.

"Arwen is here?" Estelle asked, pulling away slightly to admire Elrond's features. Particularly his hair. Both elves tended to gravitate towards the other's hair. She gently took a strand between her fingers, gazing up at her love.

"She needs to see Aragorn, and she did not need to come alone. And I had good reason to come here." He mumbled, moving her hands from around her waist to gently rest on her cheeks. His comments made her smile. "Seeing your tears pains me, melda (darling/beloved)." He added, gently wiping underneath her eyes.

"They are happy tears, meleth nin (my love), because of you. Gi melin (I love you), Elrond." Estelle smiled up at Elrond. He returned her smile before leaning down and connecting their lips.

The elleth stood off to Aragorn's left as he received his crown. "Now come the days of the King. May they be blessed." Gandalf spoke after he placed the crown on Aragorn's head. Elessar, King of Gondor. The crowd cheered as Aragorn spoke.

Estelle clapped and smiled at him, she was extremely proud of how far her friend had come. She glanced out at the crowd and smiled seeing Eowyn and Faramir standing together and smiling.

Aragorn started to walk forward, escorting Estelle with him. She smiled at him and let him proceed, she knew what was to come. They passed Faramir, Eowyn, and Eomer before coming up to Legolas. Estelle moved away from Aragorn and stood beside Legolas. "Hannon le." Aragorn said to Legolas as they did the formal Elvish greeting.

Legolas glanced behind himself to the group of elves there, making Aragorn turn towards them. His gaze softened as he saw Lord Elrond's face behind an elf holding a banner. Estelle could hear the man's breath hitch as the elf moved the banner to the side revealing Aragorn's love.

Elrond whispered, "Go to him," quietly to Arwen, giving her a nudge. She did so slowly and bowed her head to the new King. Aragorn took the banner from her and lifted her chin. She smiled and he wasted not another moment, capturing her lips in a kiss. As the "young" couple spun around, Estelle walked around Legolas and over to Elrond, wrapping her arms around his.

He was smiling. He was proud of his daughter. Elrond pulled Estelle closer as they gazed upon the happy couple. "You've made her incredibly happy bringing her here. I'm proud of you, meleth nin (my love)." Estelle looked up at Elrond as he glanced down at her. "I know how hard it was for you to let her do this but know you are doing the right thing, melda (darling/beloved)."

Lord Elrond kissed Estelle's forehead before they followed after Aragorn and Arwen. Finally they were both happy couples.
