Ashley lay her head against the shut canopy as the ringing in her ears grew louder. She had no strength to fly the plane as the hard-deck level continued to drop drastically.
Over where Iceman was sat frozen in his plane, after watching his girlfriend's plane disappear in an explosion and she was presumed dead.
"Ice, I'm so sorry" Slider softly spoke to his friend.
"She can't be gone... Not like this" Ice spoke, in denial that his girlfriend was truly gone.
"Kazansky, I'm sorry. But Ihate to change the subject but we have more MIGs on our tails" Merlin spoke
"Ice, I've got your MIG dead ahead" Maverick spoke
"Good tone. I got good tone. I got tone! Firing!" Maverick fired his missile at the enemy MIG, taking off one of its wings, causing the plane to plummet down and explode
"Two MIGs, dead ahead. Closure 800 miles an hour!" Slider spoke
"I see 'em. I'm taking them down the left side" Maverick spoke
He flew towards the MIG and gained it in his radar sight.
"Ah! I can't get it!" Maverick spoke
Just then, a loud whistle from a missile echoed in front of the planes and a MIG exploded into pieces. A plane flew through the dark, thick cloud of smoke and above Maverick and Iceman
"Who is that?!" Maverick asked
"Hello boys" Ashley spoke
She was alive...
"Thunder! We thought you died!" Slider spoke
"Indestructible, me. One MIG down, one more to go" Ashley spoke.
"Ice is right below us. He has a MIG on his tail" Merlin spoke
"I see 'em" Maverick and Ashley both spoke. They flew their planes round and joined Iceman
