Chapter 07

Braelynn's POV:

"Oo nga! Mukha ba akong nagbibiro?" Sabi ko at tinawanan naman ako ni Brynn. Kinuwento ko kasi sakanya ang mga nangyari tungkol kay Zephyr.

Many days have passed and Brynn and Cassius are already discharged from the hospital. I'm currently at their house right now because Brynn called me because she needed help with Cassius and she's having a hard time figuring things out because she's a first time mom. But for me, she's really doing great. Leander's always beside her and he's the one waking up at night and looking after Cassius whenever he's crying because he's worried about his wife because he knows that she's still recovering from birth.

"You're so unlucky! I can't even imagine what happened." Brynn laughed and shook her head.

"And Viola is even teasing me and she's saying that maybe Zephyr's the one I'm going to be with in the future. And I'm like, what? Because you know me Brynn, I don't have time for things like that and I'm always busy." I said and she raised her eyebrow and my forehead creased.

"That's what I also said before but look at me now!" She smirked and laughed and I just rolled my eyes.

"Yours is literally a completely different story. And I don't have time for serious relationships!" I said and she just sighed and shook her head.

"Is he handsome for you? Zephyr?" She said and smirked and I bit my lower lip before answering.

"A little? Maybe it's just because of his blue eyes. But I'm not interested, he's a freaking womanizer!" Umirap ako.

"Well, he's handsome in your eyes. And you both have the same personalities. He's a womanizer and you're also like that but with men " She said and laughed.

I really don't care about him. A one night stand is just a one night stand and nothing more.

My day-off is tomorrow and I already finished all the things I need to do so I'll be able to take some rest. And I'm going to go home in ny parents house because Mom and Dad has been trying to convince me to go home. But please, I just wish just for a day that I won't hear them argue nonstop because I don't like my ears bleeding from their noises.

I went out of my company to go to a coffee shop and so I can inhale some fresh air too and also to buy coffee. My secretary filed a leave today so that means I have to do works twice today but luckily I found someone to replace her just for today so I got the time right now to take a break but I'm used to it.. it's what I've been trained for since birth.

My lipstick got lost in my bag and I tried to find it until my wallet fell and I was about to get it when someone suddenly picked it up and handed it to me. "Thanks." I said and when I looked up my jaw almost dropped when I saw Zephyr.

He gave me a smile and I tried to look away. Why do we always bump into each other? I hate this! I swear if we bump into each other again after this I'm going to go crazy.

He is dressed in a black pair of pants, a white long-sleeved polo shirt with the sleeves tucked in at his elbows, and specs that make him look even hotter. I can smell his Dior Sauvage perfume from here.

Tangina, pabango palang masarap na.

"You're welcome." Nginitian niya ako pero agad akong nag-iwas ng tingin.

Maglalakad na sana ako paalis ng bigla niya akong tawagin. "Since you're here, do you mind accompanying me? It's fine if you don't want to." Sabi niya at napakagat ako sa ibaba kong labi.

"S-sure." I unconsciously said. Wait what?! What did I just say?! You're so freaking dumb, Braelynn!

We both sat on the table and he's in front of me and we both sipped our coffee's. I saw that he was reading some papers on his phone and I was checking my emails on my phone too. I was literally struggling to keep my eyes from him! It would be rude for me to turn down his offer earlier and he looks nice naman.
