Chapter 16

Braelynn's POV:

We arrived at Clavo de Comer and we took Chiyo's car because I was too tired to drive. When we entered, I felt eyes staring at me and whispers, but I ignored them and continued my walk. Chiyo was beside me and she smiled at them and waved.

"Brae! Chiyo! Welcome back! I'm so happy to see you guys here again." Sibyl said and kissed my cheeks.

"We were busy and Chiyo went to Cebu for a month." I said and she smiled while nodding.

"Oh well, have fun you guys! I have a lot of things to do tonight and Rhys will assist you guys." She said and the side of her lips rose up and gave me the look and I shook my head and chuckled.

"Uyy! Rhys daw!" Chiyo teased and I rolled my eyes and walked to the table we reserved.

We ordered a few drinks and Chiyo started drinking. I just drank a little and my heart started to beat fast when people started screaming and I already knew what was going to happen.

"Ayan na! Tutugtog na sila! Dali doon tayo sa dance floor!" Hinila ako ni Chiyo papunta sa dance floor kaya wala na akong nagawa at iwasan ko nalang siguro tumingin sakanya.

They had already started performing, and my heart started beating so fast when I heard the sound of the drums, and I tried so hard not to look at the stage while Chiyo was already screaming and dancing.

They're currently performing "Touch it" by Ariana Grande.

I saw Sibyl walking towards us. "May bago silang vocalist dahil si Nikolai nag iba ng role siya na ang tumutugtog ng Bell Kit!" Sibyl shouted so we can hear her.

"Babae new vocalist nila?!" Sabi ni Chiyo at parang nabingi ako sa sinabi niya at kumunot ang noo ko ko at nag cross arms.

Babae? Their new vocalist is a girl?

I fought the urge to look at the stage, and my heart is still racing so fast that it feels like it's synchronizing with the drums, so I took a deep breath, bit my lower lip, and clipped some of my air in the back of my ear.

They're now performing "All I Need" by Lloyd and Marcus is the one singing now.

"Hey! Why aren't you dancing? And you keep avoiding your eyes at the stage." Sibyl said ans I rolled my eyes and Chiyo laughed.

"Hahaha! Ano na? One-night stand pa? Pangalawang kanta na nila 'yan ngayong gabi hindi ka pa din tumitingin sa harap!" Chiyo said while laughing and I inhaled some air to stop myself from strangling Chiyo and I think I inhaled some vape smoke.

"Wait what? You had a one-night stand with one of them? Who?!" Sibyl asked and Chiyo kept laughing while holding her stomach. Kabagin ka sana.

"Sino paba?! Edi si Zephyr! Hindi lang one night-stand nagkita din sila ng ilang beses after no'n tapos nireject siya!" Pag kukwento ni Chiyo and I rolled my eyes and kicked her slightly in her knee.

"Really ba?! I told you naman that guy is a player! Hindi ka talaga seseryosohin no'n!" Sibyl said while shaking her head.

"Di niyo sure! hahaha!" Chiyo said and I frowned at her and she just shrugged and kept dancing and singing.

"Brae, he's looking at you." Sibyl whispered at my ear that gave me goosebumps and my heart started beating so fast that I had to inhale and exhale to calm myself.

I couldn't help myself any longer and fixed my gaze into the stage and saw him looking deeply at me while playing the drums and it felt like my eyes were glued to his and my heart neatly synching with the drums and out of nowhere I forced a small smile at him and I saw his ears starting to turn red and I laughed and shook my head.
