Chapter 11

Braelynn's POV:

"Sige na, umuwi na kayong dalawa ako na ang bahala sa daddy niyo." Sabi ni Mom kaya tumango ako at inayos na ang mga gamit ko at tinapik na si Viola para magising para makauwi na kami agad.

"Uuwi na tayo." Sabi ko at tumango naman siya at nakapikit pa na tumayo.

When we got home, I thought Viola was going to sleep, but she turned on the TV in the living room and watched a movie. I just went up to my room, took a shower, and planned to be with Viola to watch movies because I wasn't sleepy yet.

While I was wiping my hair, Zephyr suddenly came to my mind and what he said earlier about soulmates. I kept thinking that maybe what he said was true, that we were meant to be, because I've met several times, and every time I see him, my heart beats faster.

Me:
Hello Zephyr, Are you free right now? Can we meet?

I don't know why I texted him, but I miss him. I don't know, but I always want to see him, even though he's always teasing me, I miss him so much.

"Hala ka girl! Baka you're starting to like him na!" Chiyo said and I sighed and I rolled my eyes.

Maybe Chiyo is right, maybe I already like him and it doesn't feel normal anymore, but I don't know what to do because I never really liked someone like this before.

"I don't know what to do! Should I confess to him?" I said and I heard Chiyo chuckled.

"Go! Mag confess ka saka sure naman ako na hindi ka irereject no'n sa ganda mong 'yan?! Kahit ako matutuwa pag nag confess ka sa'kin." Natatawang sabi ni Chiyo at napailing nalang ako.

Good eve, Yes, I'm free right now. Where do you want to meet?

I almost fell off my seat when I saw his reply, and I immediately ended the call with Chiyo. I'm sure she'll understand. I spent almost half an hour finding something to wear and I ended up wearing a dress and flats. I curled my hair and did simple make-up.

"Ew, I look like a good girl. My god, this thing with Zephyr is making me lose my shit." I rolled my eyes in the mirror.

Me:
**** Here's the address. See you. :)

From: Zephyr
Give me the address where you are right now, and I'll pick you up instead.

My jaw dropped.

Me:
Are you sure? Here's our home address ****

"Saan ka pupunta? Bakit ganyan suot mo? Yuck, ate 'di bagay sa'yo talaga ang good girl look." Sabi ni Viola at tinawanan ko nalang siya at at tinaas ang gitna kong daliri sakanya.

I saw him leaning on his car and scrolling on his phone and my heart beat started going faster. He looked more handsome right now that he's wearing his specs, and when he saw me, he smiled and I bit my lower lip.

"You look great." He said and I smiled.

"Let's go?" I said and he nodded and opened the car door for me.

We were both silent in the car and I just looked at the car window, leaned my head against it, and tried to close my eyes until he spoke.

"Do you have work tomorrow?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, being a CEO is tiring." I said and he looked at me, shocked.

"Wait what? You're a CEO?" He gasped and I laughed at his face and I shook my head.

"Yeah! You didn't know? I thought I was famous." I laughed and he shook his head.

We both laughed and I didn't even notice that we were already here in front of the restaurant. He got off the car first and opened the door for me and I started having that weird feeling in my stomach because of his sweet small gestures.
