Chapter 24

Braelynn's POV:

The crowd was still wild after their performance, and a DJ took over to play some songs, and I was dancing with Elinor and Darcy when I felt a hand on my waist pulling me closer, and when I looked to see who it was, I met Zephyr's eyes and saw how they darkened and his jaw moved.

"Hi, baby! I loved your performance! You didn't told me you can sing!" I said and he smirked.

I could feel his hot breath on my neck as he sniffed it and I bit my lower lip when I felt a little bit ticklish. "You smell so good." He whispered that made me feel goosebumps.

"Stop, we're in front of everybody. Let's just do it after the party." I winked and he smirked.

Sinama ko siya para puntahan si Brynn at mukhang tapos naman na siya magpa breastfeed kaya lumapit na ako para sana laruin ang anak niya kaso mukhang tulog na.

"Aren't you going to party with us?" I asked and she shook her head while fixing Cassius's things and her husband was changing their son's clothes.

"Nope, as you can see I'm busy." She said and sighed and I nodded.

I saw Leander looked at her and smiled. "It's okay you can go and have fun with them I'll take care of Cassius." Leander said and smiled and Brynn looked ay her hesitant and shook her head.

"No, I'm fine. I don't want to leave you alone and I... still have to pump." Brynn said and Leander held her hand and smiled.

"We're going to be fine, and this is the first time you got out of the house after you gave birth to Cassius. You deserve to have fun, even just for tonight, since you've been taking care of our son 24/7. So, go on and have fun. We'll be okay." Leander said while smiling and Brynn just nodded and stood up.

Leander is right. Brynn has been taking care of Cassius 24/7 and she needs to take a break and have fun even just for tonight and even though Leander is also helping her in taking care of their son hindi pa din siya nakakampante at feeling niya daw kasi safe lang ang anak niya kapag nasa paningin niya at hindi ko naman siya masisisi dahil nanay na siya at gusto niya lang maging ligtas at maayos ang anak niya. At kailangan din kasi si Leander sa kumpanya niya at dahil naka maternity leave si Brynn ay siya din ang naghahandle ng kumpanya niya kaya doble-doble ang gawain kaya hindi ko din masisisi si Leander. But I admire them, they're great parents.

"Love, dito ka muna samahan mo muna si Leander at sasamahan ko si Brynn para siguradong makapag saya siya ngayong gabi." Sabi ko at tumango naman siya.

"Okay, go on. Have fun." He said amd gave me a peck on the lips.

Naka hawak ako sa braso ni Brynn habang papunta kami sa mga tao na nagsasayawan at napangiti ako nang magsimula na siyang maki saya sa mga tao at lumapit na din saamin ang mga pinsan namin para maki sayaw.

Zephyr's POV:

"Being a parent is hard. It's not always sunshine and rainbows." Leander chuckled.

Talking with Leander about being a parent and a husband made me think deeply about my future with Braelynn. Will we be able to make it through the hardships? I love Braelynn so much that I feel like I can't live without seeing or hearing her voice every day.

"Hello, Cassius. Ninong ba'ko?" Sabi ko at natawa naman siya at tumango.

"Of course, his christening will be two weeks from now. Ako? Magiging ninong ba'ko?" Sabi niya at kumunot naman ang noo ko at natawa.

"Oo naman, mayaman ka diba? May maibibigay ka sa anak ko tuwing pasko. " I joked and he laughed and shook his head.

"Siraulo. Mayaman ka din diba? Ngayon palang napapa tawa mo na agad anak ko sa tuwing babanggitin ko na ninong ka niya." Sabi niya at pinakita ang anak na bumubungisngis at pati ako ay nahawa sa pag ngiti ng anak niya.
