Braelynn's POV:
"Shit." I angrily said when I tried to stand up but my legs were trembling!
I stopped walking and winced from the pain and I took advantage of the fact that he was still asleep and even though my body and parts hurt so much, I forced myself to get ready and get my things.
I looked at him again before leaving the bedroom, sighed, and walked away. Before closing the hotel room door, I felt a sting on my chest and just walked away, even though every step hurts and I have no choice but to endure it.
I called Chiyo to pick me up and she said yes. "Hoy gaga! Hala siya! Napilay na hahaha! Ano? 'di kana makalakad?" Sabi ni Chiyo ng makita niya ako at agad lumapit sa'kin.
"Shut up, Chiyo!" I exclaimed.
"Grabe girl! Ikaw na! Anong nangyari? Kayo na ba?" Tanong niya at natigilan naman ako at sinamaan siya ng tingin.
"No, he rejected me." Tipid kong sabi at nagulat naman siya.
"My goodness! No way! He rejected you?! This is once in a blue moon that someone has rejected you! Bilib din ako kay Zephyr! Biro mo? Nakuha ka niyang ireject sa ganda mong 'yan?" Natatawang sabi niya.
"Manahimik kana nga." I said and we finally we got to her car and I winced when I sat down.
"Tangina, baldado!" Sabi ni Chiyo at at ini-start ang kotse niya.
"Putangina mo." Gigil na sabi ko.
He dropped me off at my condo and when I arrived I threw my body on the couch and just lay there for a few minutes before I thought of taking a shower because I smelled him on me. After I took a shower my between doesn't hurt that much anymore.
Suddenly someone rang the doorbell so I immediately opened the door and Chiyo appeared in front of me and went straight to the bathroom.
"Bakit ka nandito?" Tanong ko sa harap ng pintuan ng bathroom.
"Makiki-ihi! Saka sasamahan muna kita dito baldado ka pa naman." Tumatawa na sabi niya at napa irap naman ako.
"Siraulo talaga 'to." Inis na sabi ko.
Chiyo took too long in the bathroom. I wonder what happened to her, did the toilet eat her?
"Ano? Broken ka 'no?" Natatawang sabi niya at umiling nalang ako at umirap.
"I hate him!" I said annoyed and I heard her laugh.
"Alam mo binalaan ka na ni Sibyl diba na babaero 'yung lalaking 'yon? At saka 'di ka talaga seseryosohin no'n." Sabi niya at bumuntong hininga.
"Manahimik ka na nga 'di ka nakakatulong." Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
"Okay lang 'yan! Lalakero ka din naman maghanap ka nalang ng ibang lalaki diyan na hindi ka irereject." Biro niya at tumawa.
Hindi ako sumagot at tinuon nalang ang atensyon ko sa pinapanood ko. "I'm thinking of dying my hair violet again." Sabi ko at nanlaki ang mata niya at tumayo sa harapan ko kaya natakpan niya ang t.v.
"Totoo ba 'yung narinig ko? I've been waiting for this moment for years! Go na at ibalik ang college na Braelynn!" Tuwang tuwa na sabi niya at napangiwi naman ako.
"I'll go to the salon later. At pwede ba lumayas ka diyan hindi ko na makita ang t.v." Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
Nag-ayos na ako para makapunta na sa kumpanya at ihahatid daw ako ni Chiyo at sino ba naman ako para tumanggi diba. "Teh, bukas nga pala uuwi muna ako sa Cebu." Sabi niya at napatingin naman ako sakanya.
"Buti naman naisipan mong umuwi muna sa inyo. Ilang taon kana din na hinahanap ng magulang mo." Sabi ko at nagpilit naman siya ng ngiti.
"Sinasabi ko lang kasi baka ma miss mo ako at magwala ka kakaiyak pag umalis ako at gumawa ka ng katarantaduhan." Sabi niya at pasimple ko naman siyang kinurot sa beywang.
"Ang kapal naman ng mukha mo baka nga mag pa fiesta pa ako eh." Tinarayan ko siya.
"Gago! Muntik na tayo mabangga 'wag ka nga magulo." Inis na sabi niya kaya natawa ako at napailing.
Nang makarating ako sa kumpanya ay isa isa naman akong binati ng mga tao dito kaya nginitian ko sila at dumiretso na nang elevator para makarating na sa opisina ko.
"Welcome back, Ma'am. How's your day-off?" Sabi ng secretary ko at nginitian ko naman siya at umupo na sa swivel chair ko at nagsimulang basahin ang mga papeles na nasa mesa ko.
"You have a meeting with Mr. Guerrero later at 10:30AM and 12:00PM with Mrs. Herrera and 2:10PM with Mr. Marcelo." She said and I nodded.
"Really? Only three? That's unusual. Are we going bankrupt?" I said and she laughed and shook her head.
"No, ma'am. I already went to three meetings earlier for you and I told them you won't be in the company until 9AM this morning." Sabi niya at napangiti naman ako.
"Thank you, what would I do without you?" I chuckled.
"You're most welcome Ma'am." She said.
"Can you do me a favor? Can you cancel the meeting with Mr. Marcelo later? Tell him I'll meet him tomorrow morning when I arrive here." I said and she nodded and started typing on her laptop.
The telephone suddenly rang to I asked her to answer while I'm reading papers. "Ma'am, your aunt called and she told me to tell you to the party tonight for your cousin." She said and I dropped the papers I'm holding and I immediately stood up and I took the telephone from her.
"What?! Aunt, I can't come tonight I'm busy." I said and I heard my aunt chuckle.
"Can't you make some time for your cousin? You didn't even come to her birthday last year." She said and I rolled my eyes.
That's because your daughter's a bitch.
"I can't go. I'm really sorry. I'll just make it up to her." No, I won't. I hate her guts.
"No, I already talked to your mother about this." She said and I scoffed. I hate your daughter so much and if only she wasn't my cousin, I would've strangled her. Dionne is a spoiled brat.
"What?! I promise, I'll come to her birthday next year and I just have things to do today and I'm extra busy because I'm meeting some clients." I said and she sighed.
"Fine, that's a promise, Braelynn. Don't break it." Of course, I'll break it I won't waste my time on your spoiled brat and your ill-mannered daughter.
"Ma'am, Are you okay? It's time for your meeting with Mr. Guerrero." My secretary said and I nodded and fixed myself.
"Okay, thank you Leia." I said.
After my meetings today, I went straight to the salon to get my hair dyed.
"Braelynn! Darling! It's been a long time." My friend, Fred said and kisses my cheek and I smiled.
"I missed you! I want to dye my hair violet again." I said and she happily clapped her hands.
"Yay! I've been waiting for this! Well, let's go?" She said and guided me into a chair.
I also trimmed my hair just down my shoulders for it to look like when I was in college and the same shade of violet back then.
I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled, "Wow, I look like my old self! I love it! Thanks, girl!" I said and she smiled back.
I went back to the company because I had to finish something and Leia was surprised to see my hair. "Wow, madam you look great!" She said.
I took a picture and sent it to Chiyo.
