Zephyr's POV:
"Pareng Zephyr! Nasa wallet mo pa din 'yang picture na 'yan?" Jennu said but I ignored him.
"Gagi, 'wag niyo ngang inaaway si Zephyr! Alam niyo naman na first love niya yung babae na nandiyan kahit 'di niya naman kilala!" Marcus said and laughed and I raised my middle finger to him.
"Weh ba? 'di niya pa din kilala si Ateng kulay violet ang buhok?" Nikolai said and I rolled my eyes on him and he just laughed.
"Tanga din 'yan eh! Ang alam ko kasi ay sa VU din nag-aaral yung babae tapos anak siya ng Dean 'di manlang tinanong sa tatay kung kilala ba niya si Ateng kulay violet ang buhok!" Jennu said and they laughed.
"Eh no'ng graduation? 'di niya ba nahanap noong araw na 'yun?" Nikolai asked and Jennue shook his head.
"Eh diba nga absent siya non! Kasi nagkasakit! Malas diba?" Marcus said and I just sighed and ignored them.
The picture on my wallet is one Jennu took inside VU, and in the background there was a girl with violet hair, eating a lollipop and holding the strap of her backpack, and it was only a sideview of her, but I was so taken with her beauty that I kept the picture and put it on my wallet, and I've been trying to find her ever since.
And, despite the fact that I've never met her, she was my first love. And it became my habit to look at the picture whenever I was sad, upset, or angry, and it felt like she calmed me down.
And I rarely interact with people at our university, and the only people I talk to are those three, who oftenly approach me first. And during our break time, I usually eat outside because I don't like talking to people because I hear people gossip and backstab each other and I don't want to be like them. I also don't like meddling in other people's lives.
"Ready naba kayo tumugtog mamaya sa Clavo de comer? Ready naba lahat?" Singit ko sa usapan nila at tumango naman silang tatlo.
"Yes, Boss Zephyr! Nakapag practice na ang pinaka pogi niyong vocalist!" Marcus said and Nikolai started cursing at him.
"Whoo! Makakapang chix nanaman ako!" Jennu said and I shook my head and rolled my eyes,
"Sige nga! Paramihan kayo ni Zephyr ng babae." Nikolai said and Jennu scratched his head and shook his head.
"Ayoko nga! Talo ako diyan." Jennu said and I chuckled.
We started playing on stage, and I had a lot of fun. This is the life I want to live every day, and hearing people have a good time is music to my ears. Being on stage and performing makes me happy.
And, yes, I do play with girls. But I'm not the one who approaches them; they just appear out of nowhere and ask me to sleep with them, and I tried to say no, but they kept insisting.
"I'm Marcus, I'm the Vocalist." Marcus said and offered his hand.
I stared at her, stunned, because she has the same features as the violet-haired girl on my wallet. Is it truly her? Why am I suddenly nervous?
"Bro, gising! Tulog ka na ba?" Jennu said and I glared at him.
"Zephyr. Drummer." I said.
I noticed Nikolai whispering to her and I'm not sure why I'm suddenly irritated by the way he moves his face closer to her and I want to punch Nikolai. But she isn't the girl on my wallet because she has violet hair.
"Are you not going to stop your friend?" I asked and she shook her head.
"Nah, she's old enough and she knows what she's doing." She simply said.
It felt as if my body had its own mind, and as I got closer to her, I could tell she was shocked, and she abruptly drank the alcohol from the shot glass. Damn.
"Then, let's fuck." I said.
I kissed her and we went inside my condo; this is the first time a woman has entered my condo because I usually do it in a hotel, but this woman is something else that I can't explain, and she has this strange effect on me.
Braelynn's POV:
Dad was in a car accident, so we went to the hospital right away, and after what Mom just said, I don't know how to react or say because she looks really hurt, and this is my first time seeing her like this, and she's been putting up with this pain for years now, and when they finally met again, it must've been so suffocating and painful.
"Room 344. Presidential Suite." The nurse said.
Mom entered the room first and I just followed her and I was stunned when she suddenly cried and held Dad's hand and suddenly Dad opened his eyes and looked at her and I saw a smile on his lips when he saw Mom.
"I'm here already. I'm sorry I shouldn't have left." Mom said while holding Dad's hand and crying.
Dad began to wipe Mom's tears, and I just stared at them. This is the first time I've seen them act like this, and I couldn't help but smile because it answered a lot of questions in my head.
"I don't like seeing you cry, and it's not your fault. I love you." Dad said and I bit my lower lip and I stared at him in complete shock this is the first time I heard him say that to mom.
"I love you too." Mom said and I forced myself to stop smiling and held my mouth in shock, but I couldn't help myself; I felt like I'd won the lottery and I can't stop myself right now.
Dad looked at me so I went closer to him. "How are you feeling?" I asked and dad just smiled at me and I smiled back.
"I'm feeling great." He said.
I just let them talk to each other. I smiled while watching them, why can't they be like this every day? Us three almost jumped because the door suddenly burst open and I saw Viola who was panicking.
"Dad! Are you okay?!" I was surprised to see Viola and she was still sweating like she ran here.
"Nakakagulat naman 'to." Sabi ko at napa-iling.
Lumapit siya kay Dad at nagkatinginan kaming tatlo ng bigla siyang umiyak. "Dad, I'm sorry! Mag papakabait na talaga ako at kaya hindi ako nakauwi kagabi kasi may tinapos pa kami na project ng classmate ko." Sabi niya at gusto kong tumawa ng malakas kaso baka masira naman ang pag-iyak niya diyan.
"Viola, anong iniiyak mo d'yan? Okay lang naman si dad." Sabi ko at napatingin naman siya sa'kin at nakaramdam na siguro kaya tumayo siya at pinunasan ang luha.
"Bakit? Masama ba mag worry? Tumakbo pa ako papunta dito." Sabi niya at natawa naman ako at hindi ko na napigilan at pati sina Mom ay nagpipigil na din ng tawa.
"Sino ba nagsabi na tumakbo ka papunta dito? Dala mo naman siguro yung motor mo dahil nakita kong hindi nakaparada sa bahay." Sabi ko at napakamot naman siya sa ulo.
"Oo na! Tanga na'ko! Nagugutom na'ko may pagkain ba dito?" Sabi niya at napasapo nalang ako at natawa naman sila Dad
