Chapter 20

Braelynn's POV:

Viola's graduation is in two days, and we've been waiting for this moment for two months because she'll be starting college in Las Vegas after this. Her dream is to study there, and we will always support her dreams and be proud of her.

Today I'm assisting her in selecting a gown for her upcoming graduation, and my parents have allowed me to assist her because I'm her sister and I know what she likes. But that's the problem: I have no idea what she likes because we haven't spent much time together because I'm always busy and she's always gone, and when we do see each other, we fight a lot.

"Now come out let me see." I said while knocking at the fitting room door.

She came out wearing a brown tie-strap dress and it looks great at her but it doesn't match her hair color.

"What do you think?" She said and I forced a smile.

"You look great... but it doesn't suit your hair color." I said and she nodded and smiled.

"Okay, I'll just wear the other one you chose for me." She said and went back to the fitting room.

The next dress she wore was a green puff dress that goes down to her knees and has a slit on the right leg. "Wow! You look so beautiful." I complimented her and she sweetly smiled.

"I like this one, Ate. I'll just dye my hair brown to make it suit me more." She said and I widely smiled.

"That's a great idea." I said.

Pumasok kaming dalawa sa fitting room at. malaki naman ang loob kaya kasya kaming dalawa at pwede pa ata kaming tumambling dito eh.

Habang pinapanood ko siya na ineenjoy ang suot niyang dress sa harap ng malaking salamin sa harap habang vinivideohan siya nagulat ako nang bigla niya akong niyakap at niyakap ko siya pabalik at napangiti.

"Thank you very much, Ate. I wouldn't be here right now picking out my graduation gown if it weren't for you. Thank you for your patience with me, and even though I made you want to give up on me at times, you stayed and supported me, and you were there for me on the days when I didn't have anyone to lean on." She said that touched my heart and I feel like tearing up.

"It's nothing. And if it wasn't for your hard work, you wouldn't be graduating in two days. I'll always be your number one shoulder to lean on when life gets tough. I love you, you little head ache." I said and hugged her tight.

"Remember when mom and dad were arguing and you found me crying in the stairs, staring at them, so you covered my ears so I wouldn't hear them, helped me calm down, and even read me a bedtime story?" She said and I chuckled.

"Well, I can still do that." I joked and we both laughed.

"You're the best, Ate. I love you too." She said that made me tear up It felt like a lump on my chest had disappeared. This is the feeling I've been wanting all these years, the love of my sister.

"You didn't tell me you were dating my professor." Sabi niya at natigilan naman ako at kumalas siya sa yakap.

"Well, I... uhm... I was planning to tell you on your graduation." I said but it looks like she doesn't believe me.

She suddenly burst out laughing. "I'm joking, I know you have a reason why you kept it a secret from me." She said. Does she know about mom's past with zephyr's dad?

Pagkatapos namin namili nang mga gagamitin niya ay kumain muna kami at uuwi din kami agad kasi magpeprepare pa kami para sa after graduation party niya dahil ang gusto nila mom and dad ay enggrande talaga at madami ding mga bisita na inimbita sila mom kasama na ang mga pinsan namin at syempre ang grandparents namin at ngayon lang namin sila makikita dahil sa states na sila nakatira.
