Kate's POV
I wake up on the couch with Tanya sleeping at the other end. I pick up my phone and check the time. It's 2 in the morning. I yawn and rub one of my eyes. I get up and slowly walk to the spare bedroom. I see Joey fast asleep. I crawl into bed and cuddle close to Joey. His eyes barely open and he stretches out.
"Hi babe" I say giving him a kiss on the nose
"Hey beautiful" he says wrapping his arms around me
"What time did you guys go to bed?" I ask
"Midnight. Why what time is it?" he asks
"Two" I say
"I thought it was later than that" he says
"Sorry I really didn't spend much time with you today" I say
"It's okay. I'm just glad that you, Zoe, and Tanya are good friends" he says
"Me too. They are both so sweet and nice" I say
"Yeah, they're both really good friends of mine" he says
"So what are we going to do the rest of our trip?" I ask
"I really didn't have anything in particular that I wanted to do while we're here" he says
"I don't either, but I want to try some British candy while I'm here" I say laughing. Joey laughs
"Yes we need to do a British candy video" Joey says still laughing. Then the door swings open
"You know, some people are trying to sleep in this house" Alfie says opening the door
"Sorry Alfie! Did we wake anyone else up?" Joey asks
"No I was just kidding. I just woke up to use the toilet" Alfie says laughing
"You are such a butt!" I say laughing
"Good night guys" Alfie says laughing. He closes the door
"Now that he's gone," Joey says. He pulls me close and kisses me. It was a long, slow kiss. It was absolutely perfect.
"What was that for?" I ask
"Do I need a reason to kiss my beautiful girlfriend?" he says smirking
"Yes, you do" I say laughing
"You are just so perfect and I love you" Joey says
"I love you too" I say hugging him. I fall asleep, tangled in his arms.
