"we ran many tests, and we have no idea...what jayun is currently suffering. in past medical records we saw that she has never had any health problems which is just...very shocking to us. but for right now...she is in a coma. we don't know how long she'll be in this coma, but she'll be perfectly fine when she wakes..."
the feeling of someone shaking me awake causes me to suddenly sit up. i look around and see a tired but worried heeseung signaling me to get up. i look up and see aunt luna and a doctor walking down the hall.
jake, heeseung, and i quickly get up from our seats and follow aunt luna and the doctor. we then enter a room and see nurses and doctors walking around the room with clip boards in their hands coming in and out of the curtains that surrounded yoon.
we enter and there i see my big sister. she looked pale and just in horrible condition. my throat tightens. seeing yoon like this just breaks me.
jake fell onto his knees next to yoons bed and grabbed a hold of her hand. tears streamed down his face while i tried to hold back my tears. but they began to escape out of my eyes.
"so...injuries she received...she has a couple of bruises on her legs and arms. on her back i saw that she has...some sort of irritation...like as if someone scratched her." explained a nurse as she showed photos of yoons injuries to aunt luna.
i turn and join aunt luna as heeseung followed behind me while jake stayed by yoons side.
"then, uh...her nails...she bit too much and ended up biting up her whole nail at some point. jayuns most life threatening injury is the gash on her chest. it started superior mediastinum and stopped down here at her pericardial cavity."
my eyes widened seeing the photos of yoons chest gash. i suddenly start to remember the night soobin died. her chest gash is identical to soobins except it didn't go all the way down to her stomach.
aunt luna began to pant, "wh- how!? how did this happen?!"
"for right now, authorities do not know how she received this gash. but they think that when she attacked her cell mate, she gashed her with a weapon she probably had." explained the doctor in an unsure tone.
i roll my eyes and turn back walking away from the doctor and aunt luna. heeseung followed and we go back with jake and yoon. he was still silently sobbing whispering to his sister.
i cant imagine what he's feeling. that's his twin sister. i'm sure seeing your twin suffering or not in good condition is not a good sight to see. even i cant handle seeing yoon like this.
"do you really think her cell mate would do that?" questioned heeseung quietly.
i slowly shake my head not removing my eyes from yoon, "no...something happened...and her cell mate definetly did not do that."
suddenly the voice of the nurse caught my attention, "her cell mate is yang ahnjong. she actually was injured when jayun attacked her. she's currently in room three forty-two. but she cant be questioned at the moment."
