SARAH

I am on house arrest. When we got home from the party two days ago, Soran immediately told mom and dad what happened. They were not happy whatsoever. Dad was asleep when we came home, mom was in the living room watching T.V, and Carter came inside to make sure I was okay.

Two Days Ago...

"Mom!" Soran runs through the house looking for mom as I take off my shoes. Carter stood there not knowing what to say or do.

"Mom, the entity is back," mom comes rushing through the living room and into the walkway.

"What do you mean? How do you know?" She questions. She came over to where I was standing and looked at Soran and me to answer her.

"We were at a party and before you say anything, we were not drinking," Soran says.

"When we were at the party, we were outside having a bonfire and Sarah saw an entity around us. Then Sarah said something to the entity and it replied." My mom has a worried expression on her face."It replied, but it replied through James, as if it was possessing him." My mom gasps and says, "stay here, I'm getting your father."

I had to be honest with them. If the entity has done all of this, this fast, I need to be honest. I told them everything, even about the weird encounter with James at school, the mountain man, and the woman at the diner. I told them everything.

I kept Carter's mom out of the picture because I full-heartedly believe it was her and Carter was standing right there. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Now I am sitting in my room waiting for the priest my parents have called to assess me. He wants to try to expel any negative factors that might still be in me. The priest back home said that he would be able to come up this coming weekend to see me and the house.

Until we can figure out where the entity came from and how the other one found me, I am stuck here. My brother sits with me and talks to me, but we haven't talked about the elephant in the room. The whole, I tried to kill them thing. I know Soran feels bad about it, but there is a bigger issue here. A knock comes from the door and my dad comes in.

"The priest is ready for you." The priest comes in and does a once-over of my room before he comes to stand next to me while I am on the bed.

"Hi Sarah, I am father Bryan." He greets me and places a bottle of holy oil on my side table. "May I take a seat?"

"Yes, Father." He slightly smiles and takes a seat beside me on the bed.

"I was told you have been through this type of thing before?" He asks me.

"Yes, a few years ago, back in Minnesota," I tell him. He takes some holy oil and rubs it into his hands.

"Can you tell me a little more about that?" He folds his hands, "I want to be able to help you or at least figure out what is going on. The more I know the better." He explains.

I take a deep breath and sit up straighter, "well, it all really started when I was a toddler." He nods his head encouraging me.

"Sometimes my skin would burn or I would get tingles all over my body. I didn't start seeing spirits until I was about five or six." I don't like talking about what happened or the experiences I have had because it is all mostly bad memories.

"At first it was just small encounters nothing really happened, but when I was about eight, I started to see darker shadows or figures." He nods in understanding, "I wouldn't say anything to my parents because at the time they thought I was making it up or it was my imaginary friends."
