Sharp pain engraves itself into my ribs. Hissing at the thought of its nails giving me pain satisfies the monster.

"Ah," I hear the beast himself as I open my eyes to look around the room. Finding the capturer, I wiggle away as much as I can to hide from him. His hands drive around my waist and hoist me up. I can't exactly see his face or what he looks like at the moment, but the cold plastic gloves reach my skin.

My eyes roll back and I feel the tears begin to prick. Squinting to release his hands, he stops. "Her ribs are doing better, they should be healed in about a week," he says.

He informs my guests that my physical health is improving which is what they expected, but my mental health is still on the table. Meaning, can I come out of this coma?

"Thank you, Dr." I hear my mom's voice from the right side of the hospital bed.

"Do you have any update on her coma?" My dad pipes in, "if there is any change?"

The prickling feeling comes back. My mind races to figure out which way it is going to go, but to no avail, it stops right in front of my eyes.

I try to open them, but they are glued down. Fuck, my head spikes in pain, and I feel the heat rise from my thighs to my stomach. I am going to vomit, theoretically of course. I can't vomit unless there is a physical reaction. It is just a mind game.

All of this is a mind game made up by the entity that is trying to tear apart my family and friends. My parents are fighting, I can hear them all of the time.

Last night, they fought for over an hour about what they were going to do about me and how Soran is gone. Soran is undoubtedly fully attached my the entity by now and I am close to being attached.

I am putting my all into not letting go, but with each waking moment in this torturous draining body, I am almost willing to let go. Almost to my breaking point.

"Yes and no," the doctor says. "Her brain activity is fluctuates, sometimes it is very active and sometimes it is weak."

"My guess is that her brain is working overtime to let her body recover, I have never seen this much brain activity in her state before." He explains. "With this unknown cause and how much her brain is moving, it is undermined of when or if she will wake up."

I hear my mom sniffle, "is there anything we can do?"

"Right now, just being here and taking action is the best thing," he excuses himself and leaves the room.

"What are we going to do, she is not getting better?" My dad reacts by putting his hand over mine, pins begin to form.

Yells from outside the room grab their attention. I can hear my dad get up from the chair next to me and open the door to the hallway.

"Oh, my," rushing of voices and people stream into the room.

"Honey, come look," my dad calls out to my mom. She gets up and walks over to where he is standing by the door, "oh."

"Excuse me, what happened, where are you taking him?" My mom asks.

"Hey, I know him, where are you taking him?" She asks again, "what happened?" The door slams shut and there are no voices in the room. That sucks, "We were speeding together..."

A voice pops into my head. I know it is not a physical audible voice because I can't feel a human presence.

I can't feel a spirit presence either, since I have been here, no spirit other than the entity had come through.
