Y/Ns POV
Eddie and i were sat on the roof of his van starring at the stars, smoking a little pot and munching on our favourite snacks, we did this at least once a week.
"The moon is high" He says looking at me and i giggled
"Like your friends were the night we first met" i say
"Now you read all the books beside my bed" He says staring at me.
"You gave me a pretty cold shoulder at school" I said which caused him to roll his eyes
"It was a game of cat and mouse for a month or 2 or 3"
"Now i wake up in the night and watch you breathe"
Eddie rolled over to face me "you're so cute when you're high, but i'm forever glad i met you"
"Kiss me once cuz you know i had a long night"
"Kiss me twice cuz it's gonna be alright"
"Three times cuz i've waited my whole life"
"Y/N...."
I get off the roof and go into his van to find something
"Y/N what're you doing" He says looking into the van with his head hanging off the roof
I find my note book and rip a page out i climb back onto the roof and start folding it, Eddie just looked at me really confused.
A few minutes go by and i'm done and i look at him.
"I like shiny things but i'd marry you with paper rings" I say showing him the little ring i made out of paper
"Darling, you're the one i want" He says taking the paper ring
"Remember last winter, the icy outdoor pool. You jumped in first and i went in too" I say laughing, he smiled
"I'm with you even if it makes me blue, which takes me back to the colour we painted your brothers wall" He said, memories come back of us painting the wall which ended in us covered in paint after a paint fight.
"Y/N I want to drive away with you"
"I want your complications"
"I want your dreary Mondays" he says
"Wrap your arms around me baby boy" i say grabbing him
"I like shinny things but i'd marry you with paper rings"
"I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this" I say and he grabs my face tucking a piece of hair behind my ear
"I'd marry you with paper rings too" He says
He grabs the rings i made and puts one on my finger and one on his
"Guess we're married" He says laughing then kissing me
