Shawn drives me to the spot where I'll be having my dinner in, with my boss, Andrew.
"Okay hun here we are, take care" He says as he stops the car
"See you my love" I told him as I left the car.
I meet Andrew at the front of the restaurant
"You look gorgeous tonight" He says
"Well thank you"
"....Boss." He says to continue my sentence.
yeah, he always emphasizes to his colleagues that he is a boss. its a weird way of him degrading people.
"yeah, boss" I awkwardly say back.
We enter the restaurant, ordered food, and I begin discussing business.
"woah woah woah, that was fast" he says
"Sorry it is a big project to talk about, should I talk slower boss?" I ask
"No, no. I wanted to discuss another business with you" He said as he leaned forward to the table.
"Oh okay boss I'd be happy to hear it, firstly commercial or residential designs?" I ask
"Not that kind of business" He says
"See you have a lot of potential in the work field, but working isn't enough. Our firm is the best firm in New York, so to establish yourself in this field you need us. Therefore I need something more from you than just work." He says
"I see, what do you need then?" I ask
"Firstly, i need the word boss in each sentence of yours. you look up to me."
"Sorry boss" I say
"In summary, I need more than just your brain."
"Got it boss, may you please be specific though? I do have the motivation and drive to do work, what else do you see me needing?" I ask
"your body."
I do not think he meant it in that way, he's very respectable in the business he would never mean something like this, he probably means speed in errands, stay professional. I say to myself.
"Okay boss I will make sure I move fast "
He nods.
after eating, we stood outside the restaurant
"see you tomorrow" he says
"See you boss" I say back
