I have been taught from a very young age to love everyone. To respect everyone, and to listen to your elders.
Here's the tragic truth.
Love does not exist.
Respect is not meant to be given, it is meant to be earned.
The adults in your life will lie to you the most.
Do not trust anyone or their words. Believe me, most of the time they promise these things just to disappoint you.
The ones closest to you will hurt you the most.
I'm not sure what to do anymore. I have lost all hope. I don't believe in the things I used to.
I'm not even angry or upset about it anymore. I'm just kind of numb.
