I had basketball training before my first class so I had to get to school 2 hours earlier than the average student. When I pulled into the schools parking lot a lot of cars were already there because for some reason some weirdos found it interesting coming to school so early for no reason at all. If I had my way I'd still be in bed.

A few people stared at me as I walked down the hallway on my way to the locker room. I was popular but I was also sort off a loner. I won so many basketball medals, I was a star athlete and team captain and I had been the captain since my sophomore year which was going on three years now since Senior year just started a week ago. I had been on the team since freshman year and from there on out it was all the way up. I ate lunch in my car, I was in and out of classes and I didn't move in groups of athletes like my friends cause that was too much attention I wasn't ready for.

Once in the locker room I threw on my teams uniform, a hand band and a headband to absorb my sweat. When I looked outside the window I saw some track girls running laps.

"Do we have races this early into the year?" I asked no one in particular then shoved my things into my locker and ran into the hallway towards the basketball court.

Clear liquid splashed all over the floor after I bumped into someone pushing her to the ground on impact. I offered her a hand which she refused and stood up on her own stumbling into the lockers in the process.

"Jessica's sister, we meet again."

"Unfortunately under such conditions and my name's Tatianna not Jessica's sister."

"Ah." I mouthed. I knew the name but not the face.

I quickly noticed she was wearing a track uniform. She ran track and I never noticed her? Well to be fair I was the best female basketballer in the district and she also never noticed me.

I think?

"You run track."

She looked up at me, laughed then replied: "And you play basket ball. Since we're stating the obvious."

"Where were you going in such a hurry?"

"To change into my Badminton uniform. We have a game next week."

"You do Track and Badminton? Anything else?"

"Swimming."

I looked at her in surprise. She was also the best student in our grade. How did I know that? Like I said I knew the name. All the while juggling 3 sports. How did she manage to not run mad?

"How do you manage all that little lady."

"Hey!" she swatted my arm like I was a fly but it didn't even hurt. "I'm not little and it's pretty easy. I find it funny how I barely see you at school but the one time I do I spill water all over you. I'm sorry for that by the way."

"It's no big deal. I'm late for practice I'll catch you later."

I was standing there with her for at least two minutes which was enough time for coach to make me run more laps than everyone else. After my laps I sat on the bench and watched the team play.
