Melody grabbed her things and went to bed.

Alex stayed up almost all night rethinking about their dates. He enjoyed every second of it. If only he could hurry up and tell her that she is his soul mate. She is his fated one. He couldn't fathom the thought, now, that he was going to reject her. His father was right about her. She is the most beautiful person there is. Inside and out.

She's had a tough life and it's not fair to her; thinking about her he became upset about her childhood. She shouldn't have had to have gone through that. She should be treated like a Luna. She shouldn't have to worry about anything for the rest of her life. She should be served everything on a golden platter.

He sat up when he heard his Gamma mind linked him.

Alpha, we haven't heard anything from Ethan today but our scouts are thinking he will be here in the next two days.

Keep an eye on him.

Sure thing. Oh, and nice hands.

What?

I heard about the front porch kiss.

Shut up.

I also heard that you will be bringing her tomorrow night. This should be fun.

Shut up Aaron. Or I'll make you shut up.

Sorry. His gamma snickered.

Alex drifted off to sleep around three in the morning. He dreamt of Melody. He dreamt that she would be his one day. That she would bear his pups. He dreamt that their life together would be one of bliss.

At five thirty in the morning Melody began her work day. She got the coffee machines ready, began making the muffins, and heated the bagels. She checked the screen for her online orders and of course she saw John walk in the door like clockwork. This time, Alex was right with him.

"Good morning!" she said with a smile on her face.

"Good morning, I heard you are coming to dinner this evening." John told her.

"Yes, I've been invited. I was also told to tell you what I wanted to let your chef know."

"Yes, what is it you want?"

"Well," she looked at Alex. "Good morning," she smiled.

"Good morning,"

She walked around the counter to give him a hug. John stood back and watched as his son had already fallen in love with his mate.

She is the perfect Luna. John mindlinked Alex.

She is perfect in general. Alex smiled when Melody went back behind the counter.

"Alex had suggested a good southern meal. So, when I think of southern meals I tend to lean towards fried chicken, mashed potatoes, peas and cheese biscuits."

"Oh, a woman after my own heart." John laughed.

"She lives off of muffins dad." Alex said with a disapproving voice.

"That will just have to change then. Won't it?"

"I guess so," she stated.

"I will get going then." John walked out. "I'll be in the car, son." Alex nodded his head.

"Let's give that hug another chance since my father isn't here."

He walked behind the counter and leaned down to give her a kiss on her lips. "Good morning," he smiled at her.
