"Melody?" Alex called out to her. She didn't respond.

"Mel?" Ethan held on to her.

She wasn't responding to them. Alex picked her up and carried her to the pack house.

"This way." Someone led them to a couch in a living area.

Alex laid her on the couch and waited to see if she was going to wake up at all. He could tell that she was breathing but she was out. Someone put a cold rag on her forehead. Another person elevated her feet. All Ethan and Alex knew to do was stand there and pray to the moon Goddess that she would wake up.

While everyone sat around her waiting for her to wake up Alex called his parents.

"I think she passed out, dad."

"Passed out?"

"Yeah, she was fine and then all of a sudden she just- she just passed out. I don't know why or what happened."

"Is she okay?"

"She's breathing. That's what matters."

"Yes, so, just keep an eye on her. It could just all be so overwhelming to her right now. After twenty one years, it's probably a big shock to her."

"Yeah. I think she-"

"She's waking up." Ethan said.

"Gotta go." Alex hung up the phone. Both Alex and Ethan went to the couch and sat down to be with her.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw Alex and Ethan by her side. She groaned then threw her arm over her eyes. She didn't want to get up. Her head was spinning around and around. She felt funny.

Groaning, she tried to sit up.

"Oh no you don't." Ethan sat her back down.

"I'm fine, E."

"No you're not. Lay back down and we seriously need to talk." Alex told her.

"First things first, are you okay?" Melody looked around trying to find the person who said that.

"I'm - I'm okay."

"Oh good!" the lady hugged Melody tightly.

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Lily. Your mom."

"My-"

"And there is your father." Lily pointed to a man walking in the door. He was over six feet with a limp in his walk and missing his right arm. A giant smile on his face when he saw his daughter on the couch.

"Melody." he went over to her. "Those pictures do not do you justice. You are so beautiful. Just like your mother."

"Wait-" she tried to sit up. "Help me up, please." she told Alex and Ethan. She sat up in the middle of the couch. Alex on one side and Ethan on another. "So, I'm actually here? Like, I'm here in the White Clan territory and you guys are my mom and dad?" she looked between the two of them.

"Baby," Alex looked at her. "These are your parents and they have been waiting to see you."

"Oh." she felt the hot tears hit her cheeks. She had been waiting for this for so long and it's finally happening and she didn't know how to feel about it. She was so excited about this. Her dream has finally come true and yet something felt off.

"Could you-" she stopped. "How are you guys alive?"

"Oh," Lily started. "Trey had always wanted to make sure that in case of an emergency we had a back up plan. So we had a secret place to go to and then... Well we got caught but Trey stayed back and fought off who he could." She looked at her alpha. "He got into an altercation so I could get you out in a safe place. We had a back up plan in case what happened happened."

"What happened after that?" Alex asked.

"Well I dropped you off with a letter and I went to our back up plan area. I waited for what felt like years. It was only for three days. But it felt much longer than that. I didn't know if he had made it or not. But once I had decided that I needed to leave I saw him limping back towards me."

"I had lost my arm in one of the fights, as you see." he used his left hand to show that his right arm was gone. "They took a chunk of my hamstring out of my left leg. So, now I have this awesome limp. I thought I lost the love of my life when I couldn't see her. Then she found me." he looked at Lily. He grabbed her chin between his thumb and index finger. "She always manages to find me." he smiled at her.

Melody looked at the love between her parents. She felt that love with her two mates. She looked at her mates and smiled at them.

"So what happened after that?" Ethan asked.

"Well, we had what survivors we had at another place. And then we knew that we were to all come here. So it was a good trek from our other place to here. We knew something was happening. That something was brewing. But it came sooner than we thought. We never thought your grandfather would attack so quickly."

Ethan looked at Lily. "I'm so sorry. My pack has been trying to do everything that we could to make up for it."

"Don't be sorry. We were good friends with your father. But my father and your grandfather always had some issues between them. And that isn't anyone's fault in this room."

"And we know that Alex's and Ethan's packs have already joined together and I assume that you will be wanting to join them here." Trey spoke.

"Yes, I am the Luna of both packs. And they pretty much do whatever it is I say." She laughed.

"They all do." Lily played with her.

"Well, there's a few things that have to happen before this clan can join the other two. We are the middle of both clans and we have a few things that we want to make sure of." Trey grabbed a paper and showed Melody the list.

"We can make sure all of this happens. I will make sure of it." she told him. "This is my home. This is where I have been looking all these years. I will make sure we are all safe."

"Good, because we have missed our princess. You will have certain duties as a queen as well."

"Queen?" she questioned.

"Yes, you're home now and so you will be going to be the queen. We will have a ceremony for the passing of the crown from me to you. And then you two," she pointed to Alex and Ethan. "You will be the king's. But because you are married into the line you will have less say than the Queen."

"Hey, we don't have a lot of say right now anyway." Ethan picked on Melody.

"It'll be nothing new." Alex agreed.

Melody's mom kept talking about what happened and what needed to be done. There was so much that she didn't know what was supposed to happen. Melody thought it was going to be easy to come home and go about learning the new way of this clan.

She thought it would've been a one, two, three and you're done kind of thing. She thought it would've been easy to join the pack and build a house and start learning about who she was. She wasn't expecting to be Queen.

"So, this will all take place in two days."

"What?" she asked.

"Two days?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, it'll be done in two days. You will take over and take care of everything." Lily told her.

"Then I guess we better get the crew ready to start building." Alex looked over to Ethan. "We can have the pack house built and walled in by then."

"You can have a whole pack house built and walled in two days?" Trey questioned.
