I never thought that a physical union can be so satisfying to the point of completion. I may not be the first man in her life, but a part of me wants to be her last. Pagpasok ko sa studio unit ay nagsusuot ng sapatos si Caelen na parang nagmamadaling umalis. Hindi ko alam kung bakit gusto niyang umuwi agad.

"Saan ka pupunta?" nagtataka na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Traevon? Bakit ka nandito?"

"What do you mean bakit ako nandito? Magkasama tayo buong gabi at bahay ko ito. Saan naman ako pupunta?"

"Akala ko bumalik ka na ng Japan at iniwan mo akong mag-isa pagkatapos ng nangyari sa atin kagabi. Engaged ka na at hindi tama na nakikipagharutan ka sa ibang Werewolf, lalo na sa tulad ko na newbie lang at wala pang Werewolf Family!"

"Caelen, I can hear your thoughts. You may be in your human form, but you are a Werewolf now. We can speak telepathically. At sino may sabi sa'yo na pupunta ko ng Japan?" tanong ko sa kanya sabay turo sa papel na nakadikit sa fridge.

This is my written message to Caelen that I will be going out to pick up some groceries and I even advised his half brother that she is staying with me.

"Narinig mo ang sinabi ko sa isip ko?" gulat na tanong ni Caelen.

Lumapit ako kay Caelen at mabilis siyang niyakap. She looks worried and sad, but somehow the thought made me happy. It is like she wants me to stay and she wants me to be with her.

"Akala ko ba payag ka na maging Other Woman ko? Nagbago na ba isip mo?" biro ko sabay hawak sa mukha niya.

"Payag ako dati noong beshie pa tayo, pero iba na ngayon. We already fuc---"

"Fucked last night? That is more than that to me, Caelen. Come on, ipagluluto kita dahil alam ko na gutom ka na. Dinalhan ko na din si Cascade ng pagkain kaya huwag na mag-alala."

My vacation leave was extended to few more weeks because of Caelen. Bumalik na siya sa kanyang trabaho sa Dima Corp. Taguig branch, pero palagi ko siyang sinusundo na parang isang boyfriend. Sa ngayon, ayoko munang bumalik sa Japan. Mas gusto ko kasama ang babaeng ito.

Habang nasa parking lot ako ng Dima Corp. building ay napansin ko na papalapit sa akin si Kuya Lanford. Malamang ay nabanggit na ni Caelen sa kanya na ako ang sumusundo dito tuwing hapon.

I am not sure if she mentioned to Kuya Lanford that she is also spending more of her nights in my unit.

"Traevon."

"Kuya Lanford, mukhang napasyal ka sa parking lot? Huwag mo sabihin na naamoy mo ko?"

"I know that you are always here around this time. Can we talk?" utos niya sa akin sabay turo sa sasakyan ko para pumasok kami.

Hindi ko alam kung anong pag-uusapan namin ni Kuya Lanford, pero sigurado ako na tungkol ito kay Caelen. Noong huling nag-dinner kami ay tinanong ko siya tungkol kay Caelen, at inamin niya sa akin ang intensyon niya na ligawan si Caelen at gawing asawa.

His revelation pushed me to make my move to Caelen. Kaya din ako naglasing dahil sa pag-amin niya na gusto niya si Caelen. I am glad that Caelen is with me now. Matagal ko na kilala ang pinsan ko at ngayon lang siya nagka-interest sa isang babae.

But Caelen is already mine...

"The First Heirs know that you are staying here in the Philippines. And they also know that you are with a certain employee of Dima Corp.," derechong sabi sa akin ni Kuya Lanford pagkapasok namin sa loob ng kotse.

"Kailan pa nakialam ang First Heirs sa mga affairs ko?"

"If this contradicts the vision of First Heir Jedidiah."

"Vision for me to marry Zackie or else the twelve Alpha will destroy the world? Kuya Lanford, tayo na ang mga Alpha ngayon. Sir Joe already ended the original twelve Alpha."

"I am referring to the new vision of the First Heir Jedidiah."

Napasuntok ako sa steering wheel dahil sa sinabi ni Kuya Lanford. The first vision of Jedidiah pertains to the awakening of the Alpha and their mission to destroy the world after escaping the Morpheus Castle. This vision already happened, but the Thirteenth Alpha was able to subdue these twelve legendary creatures to contain their damage.

Jedidiah's second vision pertains to the revival of the twelve Alpha due to the spell casted by Gresilda decades ago. They will be awakened as monsters powered by the Stygian Sphere.

The same thing happened during the Werewolf-Demon Witch war wherein the Death Sirens awakened hundreds of dead Werewolf and transformed them into alien looking monsters.

"So ang kasal ko kay Zackie ang sagot sa lahat ng ito?" tanong ko kay Kuya Lanford.

"That is what the First Heirs believed. Your marriage to Zackie will stop the spell of Gresilda."

"You know that is bullshit! Anong kinalaman ng pag-iisang dibdib namin ni Zackie sa Alpha Apocalypse?"

"The Steiner vision is always right, Traevon."

"How about my lolo? Anong sabi niya? Naniniwala ba siya dito?"

"The Thirteenth Alpha is more concerned about the dinosaurs in Montana, Traevon."

"I went to his university a couple of times last week. Pinagtataguan niya ako! Kapag tinatawagan ko siya, nagpapanggap na automated voice, parang bata! But that old piece of shit will agree with me! He thinks there is something wrong with the vision of the First Heir Jedidiah!"

"Traevon, we cannot disregard Jedidiah's vision. This is not about your relationship with Caelen. This is about saving the world and the Werewolf Clan."

"Then let the world burn!"

Lalabas sana ako ng sasakyan ng biglang hinawakan ni Kuya Lanford ang braso ko. I can somehow feel his pain. His pain of not being with Caelen.

"Do you think Caelen would stay with you if she finds out about this?"

"The lesser she knows, the better."

I don't want to tell Caelen about this. I don't want her to be involved in these Werewolf-related complexities. She doesn't even know that I am the Royal Heir, a royalty in the Werewolf world now that Alpha Ezraikiel is gone.
