Izzy's stomach was sour. Sour and churning.
But he would hold it in. Izzy the Spewer would not put in an appearance today. The order had been "onto the next".The sea was calm, but Izzy's stomach was churning. When Edward — when Blackbeard —had said "onto the next", who could've known what he intended? And Izzy's stomach was churning.
He had heard Blackbeard crying in Bonnett's old room. He hated the very thought of it. His captain in such a weakened state. A state he recognized though he didn't understand, considering it's source.
He couldn't understand and didn't want to understand Blackbeard's — Edward's — feelings for Stede Bonnett, or how those feelings could lead him to this. To a journey to "make The Revenge live up to it's name", as Blackbeard put it.
But Bonnett's wife and children? Izzy's stomach was sour.
And churning.
