A nearby car door slammed too hard and Steve winced at the sound. He opened the boot of his car and carefully placed four grocery bags in before gently shutting it. Thankfully he hadn't bumped into anyone he knew and he was eager to leave before his luck changed and someone noticed him.

Just as he was getting into his car he spotted a familiar vehicle entering the parking lot. He froze for a second before throwing himself into the drivers seat, starting the car and driving as fast as he could away. Steve had bought a new car while his parents had been away on another business trip so he knew they wouldn't know it was him. He hadn't seen them in over a month and he wanted to keep it that way.

Steve dragged a hand through his hair and let out the breath he had been holding in. Steve had left them a note at the house telling them he had moved out and that he would call them when he got a phone set up. If he was being honest with himself he just didn't want to see them. They barely called him while they were away for work and he didn't feel like they deserved a proper goodbye.

Steve turned the radio on and immediately flinched as Master of Puppets blasted out. He hastily change the channel and relaxed as something else started to play. He wasn't ready to hear that song. The song that Eddie had played to distract the bats for them. The song that had gotten Eddie almost killed. Steve put his foot down and raced back to the cabin as quickly as he could.

Steve relaxed as he pulled up to the house and parked up. He thought about getting the groceries out of the car first but decided he wanted to check on Eddie. He did the special knock on the door to let the long haired man know he was home and then entered. He listened out for any sounds but the cabin was filled with silence.

"Eddie?" He called out, making his way past the open kitchen and over to other side of the room where the sofa and tv were. When he got no reply he started to panic and made he way towards Eddies room. He didn't get far before he noticed a bare leg next to the sofa. Steve walked further and gasped at the sight of Eddie lying lifeless on the floor. "Eddie? Eddie!"

He got on his knees and shook the man gently before checking his pulse. He sighed with relief as he felt a steady one and continued to gently shake the guy. "Hey, Eddie. Wake up, man."

After a minute or two his friend started to stir and let out a groan of pain. He didn't open his eyes straight away but he could feel a presence beside him. Slowly Eddie opened his eyes and was greeted with Steves face. He tried to sit up but groaned and laid back down, his hand reaching to the spot on the back of his head that was throbbing. Eddie turned to his left and looked at the wooden side table, realising that was probably what he hit his head on.

"Eddie, are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?" Steve bombarded him with questions, not letting him get a word in. His eyes were filled with worry.

"Jesus, Stevie. Gimme a chance to answer." Eddie chuckled, finally able to sit up a little bit. However his laughter was cut short when he glanced down and realised he was just barely covered by his towel. He wondered how his housemate hadn't noticed yet. "First of all, I'm okay. I just fell and hit my head. It's no big deal! And second of all, I need to get up. This floor is uncomfortable."

Steve let out a sigh of relief and nodded, grabbing Eddies arm and slowly helping him up. As the pair got up Steve was taken aback as he noticed Eddie was only wearing a towel and that towel was starting to fall away, leaving the man totally naked in front of him.

Eddie smirked as he watched Steves face turn red before turning away to give Eddie some privacy. Still smirking to himself he picked up the towel and wrapped it firmly around his waist again. "Get a good eye full there, Harrington?" He teased.

Steve slowly turned around, hands covering his eyes incase Eddie was still indecent. "Don't get too excited, Munson."

"You can look, dude."
