Chapter 18

MEADOW'S POV

I woke up to Connor shouting me,

"Meadow! Come down stairs, I've got something to tell you!" I groaned and dragged myself out of bed.

I walked into the living room. I saw Connor sitting down in an arm chair. He waved me over and indicated me to sit opposite him.

"Hey dad, what's up" I smiled at him but he didn't smile back, I began to get worried.

"It's about school, you need an education to get a job..." Be blabbed on about how school was important. But I wasn't listening. Was he really sending me to public school, the last time I went was when I was in the orphanage. With the experience I had before, I swore to myself not to go again. I was bullied, people used to push me around and call me names. I was took out of school when the "popular" girls hurt me so bad I was in hospital for a week. The Headmaster said I was in danger at school and told me to leave. So I did, and I had online tuition at the orphanage.

"Please dad, I can't go!" I pleaded,

"I'm sorry, you need to go. Plus it's a great way to make new friends outside the O2L house." Connor said, he did have a point. I have no friends, but what if I get bullied again.

"Go to school for a week and see how it goes. Please Meadow, for me." Then I gave in, I couldn't let down my Dad.

"Okay, Just for a week to see what it's like." I said "When do I start?"

"Well erm... Tomorrow." WHAT! I screamed in my head. I have one last day to be free, then I'm back to living hell, again.

"Okay dad." I felt a lump in my throat form. I got up and left Connor alone, I went back to my room. I burst through my door and threw myself on my bed. I pushed my head against my pillow and screamed. My pillow was soaked with tears of fear. I can't believe I just agree to that.

*The next day*

"WAKE UP!" I woke up to a dancing Ricky on my bed. "TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOOOOOOOL." Damn I forgot. "Connor sent me to wake you as he's making lunch for you."

"Five more minutes," I waved my hand indicating Ricky to leave me alone.

"NO!" I was pushed off my bed, landing on the soft carpet. I started to fall asleep again, but I couldn't as Ricky started tickling me. I started to laugh which woke me up.

"Okay... okay" I said between laughs, "I'm awake, leave me to get ready" Ricky nodded his head and left.

I pulled myself off the floor and dragged my sleepy body into the bath room. I had a quick shower, dried my hair and straightened it. I put of some makeup making sure I used water proof mascara just incase. Then came the hard part, picking my clothes. I pulled open the wardrobe and looked for the perfect outfit. I chose some light blue jean shorts, a baby pink crop top. For shoes I picked my white converse. Perfect. Before I went down stairs, I brushed my teeth and put on a light blue and white bandana to complete my out fit.

By the time I got down stairs it was time to go. I got into Connor's car and he drove me to school.

"Dad I don't think I can do it." I finally spoke, I felt like crying again.

"Yes you can, you've been in worse situations." that was the truth, I just agreed and stared out of the window. I've been in the car for 10 minutes then we pulled up to school. My stomach had butterflies, I felt like being sick.

Before I got out the car, Connor took both of my hand and I turned to face him. He looked at me and spoke,

"I know it's hard baby girl, but I know you can do it. You'll love every second, and that's the truth I promise you." I nodded my head and sighed, a little weight was lifted off me.

We both got out of the car and headed for the school to register me. When Connor finally finished signing papers, I got my timetable, today I had Math, German, break, P.E, science, lunch then Geography.

Now was the time Connor had to leave me, I gave him a huge hug and kissed his cheek.

"I'll pick you up after school." he said then left. Now I'm alone.

I finally found my class, maths. I knocked on the door and entered slowly. I walked in slowly as all eyes were on me.

"Ahh, you must be Meadow Franta." a plump little man said. He sounded to happy for a Monday morning.

"Yes" I replied, i could still feel everyone staring at me.

"Well, take a seat next to Mia she'll fill you in." I nodded my head and took a seat next to the girl. She had black hair which went all the way to her hips, perfectly straight teeth and chocolate brown eyes.

"Hi," Mia said,

"H-hi" I was really nervous talking to new people. "I- I'm Meadow."

"I know who you are, you're Conner Franta's daughter, he's like my favourite youtuber ever in the whole entire world. Your channel is cool to," she whispered the next bit, " I totally ship you and Sam." I smiled at her as a thank you.

I spent the next hour talking to Mia, I found out she's in all of my lessons except German. Mia promised me she would become my friend and show me around, she also said that she'll introduce me to her friends.

It's been 4 hours of working now it was lunch. I walked into the canteen to see Mia waving me over to a table she was sitting at. I started towards Mia, weaving between tables, chairs and people. I was about the reach her when someone's foot stuck out and tripping me up. I landed on the canteen floor face down, I could feel my cheeks burn red from embarrassment. I heard someone laugh above my body and say,

"Look what I've found again." I've heard this voice before. I slowly stood up and turned to the voice. Right there and then, my heart dropped to the bottom of my body. Stood in front of me were three girls, the three girls that put me into a coma.
