Chapter 22

MEADOW'S POV

*friday*

"Wanna come to my house for a sleep over tonight?" I asked Mia and my new friends. There was Emily a short girl with chocolate brown eyes and her hair was shoulder length which was black and wavy. There also was Georgia, she was like a younger version of Kendal Jenner, she was beautiful and she could get any boy she wanted. My last friend was Lottie, she was about 5 foot 6, her hair was brown and perfectly straight. She was the most energetic out if all of us, at 5 in the morning she would wake up and go for a run then do yoga. I can hardly get out of bed at 7.

"What do you say?" I asked again,

"Yes!" Lottie screamed jumping up and down with excitement,

"Yea, I'd love to." replied Georgia,

"Yasss," said Mia,

"I'll have to ask my mom but I think I'll be able to." Emily replied.

"So it's sorted,"

After school we all went our separate ways so we could get ready. I skateboarded back to the house. On the way home I stopped off at the shop to grab snacks for us. I bought every kind of sweets, chocolate and crips available. I got 5 tubs of ice cream for each of us.
I got home and all the guys were out for a couple of hours so I had the house to myself. I chucked all the food into the cinema room and ran to my room to get changed into something more comfortable. I chose some leggings and a over sized top which was Sam's. I put on some fluffy socks as I can't stand feet. I tied my hair into a messy bun and put a bandana on to hold it all up. Just as I finished my hair, the door bell rang.

I ran down stair and opened the door. Stood there was Mia, Georgia, Lottie and Emily. They were all in their comfy clothes.

"Ready for the best sleep over ever!" I screamed.

The girls replied screaming along with me and throwing their hands in the air. We ran through the house to the cinema room, I pushed all the chairs to the edge of the room while Mia and Emily found blankets and pillows and piled them into the middle of the room. Lottie and Georgia connected my laptop to the giant TV and picked a movie off Netflix. They chose, orange is the new black. Typical movie for a sleep over.

We watched movies and ate food for hours, we stopped when Connor and the guys got home.

"Wanna meet the guys?" I asked my friends, they erupted with screams. "I guess you're big fans." They nodded their heads in response.

We left the cinema and found all the guys chilling in the living room. Before I could say hi and introduce my friends to them, Mia, Emily, Lottie and Georgia screamed and dived on the guys.

"Hello dad, these are my friends," I said above all the noise. After all the fan girl commotion we all decided to play dares.

"I'm first!," Kian said, "I dare Jc to... ." Kian smiled evilly, "Lick the bottom of my shoe," I heard Mia dry heave next to me, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay okay." Jc took off Kian's shoe, and licked it from heal to toe.

"That was horrifying, okay my turn. I dare Sam to jump into the pool butt naked." laughed Jc. The water was pretty cold.

"Oh god," Sam said, "and what if I don't?"

"You have to... Shave all your hair off."

"Oh god not my beautiful hair." Sam faked cried. "Okay okay I'll jump in the pool."

We all went into the garden, Sam got undressed behind a tree. He came out covering his junk up, and without hesitation, he ran and jumped in the pool. Everyone was in fits of laughter, while Sam got out the pool and ran to find a towel.

After that we did some more dares and then we all decided to go to bed.

"Night girls." I said,

"Good night ." They all replied in unison. Then I passed out.

*later that night*

I was woke up by Mia leaving my bedroom. It was still only 4:30 a.m. why was she up so early. I got to curious and followed her. Mia walked across the landing and over to Sam room, I watched her enter. Mia left Sam's door slightly open, I exited my room and peeked through the gap.

What I saw next hit me like a car. In there, I saw Sam and Mia kissing.

"Sam..." I cried, Sam pushed Mia away, I didn't let him explain I ran over to a window that led to the roof and climbed out. I don't think he saw me because I heard him shouting for me.

I lay down on the roof, staring at the stars. I let tears stain my cheeks. I began to get tired of crying, so I closed my eyes for a minute, that turned to hours when I fell asleep.

SAM'S POV

I was woke up by one of Meadow's friends entering my room. I think it was Mia.

"Hi, what up?" I asked, Mia didn't answer straight away, she carried on walking toward me.

"Hey." Mia finally answered, she sat down on my bed. I looked at her to say what are you doing. Mia just scooter closer to me, she took her hand and brushed it across my cheek.

"Get off me." I pushed Mia's hand away, she pulled a angry face and grabbed my face with both her hands. Before I could react, she pushed her lips into mine. I tried to fight her off but she was to strong.

"Sam..." I heard Meadow cry at my door. The pain in her voice killed me. I finally had enough strength to push Mia away.

Before I had the chance to explain to Meadow, she had ran away. I got up and ran after her but I couldn't find her. It was like she disappeared of the face of the earth.

I dropped to my knees and cried. I had just lost the first girl I truly loved. When I do find Meadow, maybe I could fix this mess. Maybe...
