Chapter 20

MEADOW'S POV

I went into geography class late, but the teacher wasn't there. I walked into class and the room erupted with clapping and cheers. I had no idea what was going on.

"Meadow, over here!" I noticed Mia waving me over to her, I slid into the seat next to her,

"Why is everyone cheering for me?" I asked, Mia gave me a look saying are you stupid,

"You just had a argument with Sara the meanest girl ever, and you won. You're going to be so popular now, all the younger grades look up to you." She told me.

"Really?" I was really surprised I couldn't even believe it. I let a huge smile spread across my face.

Throughout the whole lesson, I got notes passed along to me and whispers from across the room. For once in my life, I felt like I actually belong.

The class had finished as it was time to go home, I walked out of school and found Connor, surrounding him were about 12 girls. He was trying to get back to his car but couldn't,

"Connor, chuck me your car keys!" I shouted over the screams, the keys came flying through the air towards me. I caught them and ran for Connor's car. I slipped in to the drivers seat and I turned the keys starting the car up. I drove the car towards Connor, I was about 8 foot away when I honked the horn making all the fans jump. They backed away just enough from Connor that I could drive up next to him. This gave him the chance to jump in, then I drove away as fast as I could.

"Thanks" Connor sighed with relief,

"No problem," I replied,

"So how was school?" I had mixed emotions about today, I told him about meeting Mia, having an fight with Sara which Connor wasn't to impressed about, then I told him about becoming the most popular girl in school.

"It was a pretty good day to be honest," I said. I finally got home, I went straight to Sam's room. When I got there I opened the door and found him recording a video, he didn't notice me come in. I walked up behind him, I looked at the camera and put my finger to my lips and mouthed 'shh'. When I was ready, I screamed 'ahh' in Sam's ear.

His reaction was priceless, he did the girlest scream ever and jump off of his chair and fell to the floor. I was crying it was so funny, I was rolling on the floor laughing, literally. I felt arms rap around me and lift me off the floor,

"Hi," I said, booping Sam on the nose,

"I'm going to get you back when you're not expecting it," Sam put on a pretend angry face which made me laugh even more. He carried me fireman style over to his bed and threw me down. I lay down trying to recover from laugher, Sam kissed me on the lips and then carried on with his video.

After Sam had finished, he joined me on his bed. He pulled me into a hug putting his hands in my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We stayed like this for a while then I fell asleep, and it was only 6 o'clock.

*2 hours later*

I woke up but Sam wasn't with me. He was sat over by his desk. I noticed him holding a black box, the same one that he tried to hide from me the other day. He held it in his hands squeezing it tight. He sighed and but the box back in the draw. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended that I was asleep. I could feel Sam slide back into bed with me. He wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you Meadow."

"I love you Sam." I replied.
