Chapter 8

SAM'S POV

Once Connor left to check on Meadow, we heard shouts from inside the girls bathroom.

"Meadow, Meadow, MEADOW PLEASE WAKE UP!" These were Connor's pleads. All the guys around the table ran towards the restroom. I was the first through the door. The next thing I saw, hit me like being shot in the stomach. There in Connor's arms was Meadow's limp body, unmoving.

"Someone call 911!" I screamed.

MEADOW'S POV

Where was I. All I could see was darkness but I could hear everything going on around me.

"Meadow, Meadow, MEADOW PLEASE WAKE UP." Connor's screams scared me, I've never heard him like this before. I tried to tell him I was okay but my lips felt like ten tonne weights that were impossible to lift.

All I wanted now was to hug my dad, tell him everything is alright and we'll get through this. But that was impossible.

CONNOR'S POV

Once the ambulance arrived, they took Meadow and I to the hospital, the guys had to go in Kian and Ricky's cars.

They rushed Meadow into the A&E I tried to follow her but I was pushed out of the room. I was forced to wait in the waiting room. I couldn't hold in my tears they fell down my face like a water fall. I cried so much I couldn't physically cry any more.

Once the guys arrived at the hospital I had already been waiting an hour for any results on Meadow. I waited and waited for what felt like a life time. Eventually, and nurse exited her room and asked for me.

"Connor Franta?" She asked

"Yeah!" I replied instantly,

"You can come and see her now, only you though. Plus we have some news." She said with a sad face. My stomach flipped upside down. I followed the nurse in to the room. At the centre back wall lay Meadow. She had wires and tubes hooked up to her. There was a constant beep, of the heart rate monitor. It was weak but she was alive.

I walked up to her and sat in the uncomfortable hospital chair next to the bed. I reached for her hand and gave it a quick squeeze, indicating I was still here with her.

The nurse interrupted me, by saying

"We have some bad news," my heart dropped to the bottom of my body, "Meadow has slipped into a coma, she could be awake soon though, only time will tell." she gave me a sympathetic smile and left, leaving me and meadow alone.

I took her other hand and gave them both a squeeze, I kissed her forehead and said,

"No matter what happens, I will be here for you through thick and thin, and don't forget I love you with all my heart and to the moon and back." I said my last word and let a single tear roll down my cheek.
