Chapter 11

MEADOW'S POV

After Sam and I kissed, we headed back towards the party, Sam let go of my hand he was still holding so no one saw us.

The rest of the night was a blur. I partied, and dance the night away. I made lots of friends like Jenn, Cameron Dallas and Brent Rivera. I got all their numbers an added them to my phone.

After partying past midnight, everyone started to go home. While Connor, Jc, Ricky, Kian, Sam and Trevor were tidying up I found a bench and sat down.

This has been the best day ever. Getting out of hospital, a surprise birthday party, a beautiful new dress and a new penny board. I couldn't ask for any better friends and family.

After sitting on the bench for 10 minutes I got tired and lay down. I had a smile on my face as my eyes closed and I fell asleep.

TREVOR'S POV

I noticed Meadow sleeping on the bench at the end of the pier. God she looked beautiful tonight and I need to tell her that. I walked up and sat down next to her. I brushed the hair out her face and put it behind her ear. She looked so peaceful sleeping away. I was staring at her, but I was pulled out from my trance when I heard someone shout.

"Guys, we're going home lets all meet in the car park." Jc shouted, I didn't want to wake Meadow, so I scooped her up bridal style. I carried her to the car park and I put her in Ricky's car I got in after and we headed home.

MEADOW'S POV

I woke up in my bed. How did I get here? All I remember was sitting on the bench and then I fell asleep.

At least I'm home at last.

I dragged myself out of bed and had a nice warm shower. When I finished, I walked into my room with a towel rapped round me as I forgot my clothes. I was at my wardrobe when someone walked into my room.

"Hey Meadow, I just wan-" It was Trevor.

"GET OUT!" I screamed at him. He slammed the door shut. That was embarrassing. I carried on rummaging through my wardrobe and found an outfit. I chose some timberland boots, black super skinny ripped jeans and a pink skin tight sleeveless top.

After choosing my clothes, I left my room and went down stairs to eat breakfast. I walked into the kitchen to see Kian making breakfast.

"Morning," I said,

"Morning, that was some intense party last night." he replied, he sounded hungover.

"I know, how about the best party though." I said.

"Defiantly " he then carried on making breakfast. I made myself some toast and took it to my room to eat.

When I arrived at my room, there was a sticky note on my bed, it had rushed hand writing on which read.

'Meet me on the roof at 5pm I have a surprise'

Well it's 10 o'clock now. I decided to have a chill day today. I hung around the pool with Ricky most of the time. We sunbathed and did a bit of swimming. I had lunch with Kian, Jc and Connor at Taco Bell, my new favourite place to eat. After eating lunch we went shopping.
I haven't had the chance to see Sam all day, so I decided after I get my surprise from Trevor, I'll visit him in his room.

When I got home from shopping, it was 4:55 pm, I had 5 minutes to spare so I went on youtube, to waste time. Finally it was 5 o'clock. I did what the note said and jumped out my window and climbed on to the roof. When I finally got up, I was took back. In front of me was Trevor holding a bunch of roses, to his right was a candle lit table and to his left was pillows and blankets piled up.

He walked up to me and handed the red roses to me. I took them and smelt them.

"What's all this for?" I Finally asked,

"For you my princesses," he said smiling, I blushed slightly but not the way Sam makes me. He took my free hand a guided me to the candle lit table. We had an amazing dinner, I had my favourite, spaghetti and meatballs, and for pudding I had a tub of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream all to myself.

After dinner we sat down on the pile of pillows and blankets. We sat there silent watching the sun set. Then Trevor broke the silence.

"You looked beautiful yesterday," he said,

"Thank you," I replied, then he took both of my hands and looked me in the eyes.

"I know this is weird and all but I really like you Meadow. I really do...you're perfect... And I was wondering if that... erm... That if you... wanted to be my girlfriend?" He finally stuttered out.

What? I don't like him like that, he's more a brother to me and nothing else. I can't do this, I told Sam I'll never leave him.

"Oh Tre-" before I could tell him no his lips crashed into mine. His lips aren't like Sam's, they don't fit together like a jigsaw. Before he got the wrong idea I push him away.

"Trevor, I can't do this," Tears began to form in his eyes, I couldn't bear to see him like this. I got up, climbed back into my room and sat on my bed.

I had too much on my mind and needed to tell someone about what just happened. I decided to text Ricky,

TO RICKY:

"Come to my room, I need to tell you something."

FROM RICKY:

"On my way."

I heard pounding footsteps coming up the stair and my bedroom door swung open. I ran up to Ricky and hugged him.

"I feel so stupid right now." I told him. He gave me a confused look. Then I told him everything that happened on the roof with Trevor, the note, the meal and him asking me to be his girlfriend. The whole time Ricky just listened. That's why he's my best friend.

After I finished speaking I was in tears. Two reasons, 1 I just broke and innocent boys heart and 2 is that I feel like I have betrayed Sam. I should have seen the kiss coming and backed off. I gave Trevor the wrong signals, I'm so stupid for not noticing.

I cried and hugged Ricky for a good 10 minutes and then he spoke.

"I know you really like Sam, and you did the right thing by pushing Trev away, for the good of your relationship. Tell Trevor you would love him, but you can't because your heart belongs to someone else." I tightened my hug on Ricky and kissed his cheek as a thank you for being my best friend.

This is a really long chapter. It took me hours to write.

I have so many ideas, but I can't put them into words. *sighs*
