Chapter 23

MEADOW'S POV

I woke up to the sound of birds singing, I was still on the roof. I sighed and remembered what happened last night. Sam kissed my first real friend, Mia.

The sun was high in the sky so I guess it was about 12 o'clock. I climbed back down off the roof and into my room. My room was empty so Lottie, Georgia and Emily must of gone home.

There was voices outside my door,

"Where could she be?" It was Connor, he had so much worry in his voice it hurt me to listen.

"I know she hasn't left the house so she must be close." Ricky replied. Then I heard foot steps and they were gone.

I was regretting hiding for so long, I felt so bad for Dad, he must be worried sick. I decided I would find dad and tell him what has happened.

I exited my room and headed to Connor's. There was a muffled Cry from behind the door.

"Dad?" I knocked on the door, I heard a slight yelp. Before I knew it Connor was pulling me into a huge hug.

"Meadow! You're safe." Connor said crying. He then pulled me from the hug, and gave me a sad look, "come in to my room and tell me everything.

I told him about the kiss and me camping out of the roof.

"Sam didn't kiss Mia." Connor said,

"I saw them kissing," I replied,

"Yeah, but he was trying to push Mia away. She forced him to kiss back."

"Really?" I forgave Sam slightly,

"Yeah and he is heart broken, he's locked himself in his room and hasn't come out." I looked at Connor and he nodded his head. I left the room and headed for Sam's. I didn't even knock I just entered.

I saw Sam on his bed and crying in to his pillow. He didn't notice me enter. I went over to his bed and jumped on top of him, hugging him from behind. Sam tensed up,

"It's only me." I tried to calm him down, Sam's body relaxed. He flipped me off, I landed next to him on his bed.

"Connor told me every thing. I'm so so sorry for not trusting you. I'm a horrible girlfriend." I turned away facing the wall.

"No you're not, you're the best girlfriend anyone can want. I love you and no one else can change that." I felt two arms wrap around my waist, Sam pull me close to him so our bodies were touching. I flipped back around to face Sam.

"I love you Sam." I said

"I love you more Meadow."
