Chapter 38

KIAN'S POV

Meadow mouthed I love you and then Alex drove off. I heaved myself off the ground and attempted to chase after them but I was to weak from the punch . I took two steps before I collapsed again.

"MEADOW!" I cry out reaching for the car as it disappeared around the corner.

I dragged my heavy body to my car and found my phone.

"Connor! Meadow has been kidnapped by Alex. Ring the police I'm going to follow them. Don't ask any questions just do it!" I scream into the phone.

"Er okay" Connor replies and hangs up.

I turn on the engine and drive out of Starbucks. I turned in the directions that Alex drove in and followed the road.

I drove around for hours searching for Meadow but I couldn't find her.

It was past midnight when I was forced to go home because I was so tired. I pulled up to the house and saw a police car on the drive way.

I entered the house and I saw everyone sitting on the sofas. Even Sam was there who never talks to us much anymore.

The police officer walked up to me and asked me questions. I answered them all giving as much detail as I can.

The officer left, leaving me alone with o2l.

"KIAN HOW COULD YOU LET HER GO!" Sam screamed at me.

"I tried to save her! Alex punched me in the stomach." I left my shirt to show a huge bruise covering my whole stomach."I was trying to help, but Meadow-gave herself-up-for me..." I say the last bit between tears.

"I'm sorry..." Sam apologised for shouting. I walk over to him and give him a hug. Soon enough everyone was having a group hug.

"My baby girl will be okay," Connor says,"She'll get through it, I know she can. She's a tough nut to crack."

"You're right," Ricky admits.

I hope Connor is right. All I want is my girl back in my arms. I'll search for Meadow everyday until I find her, even if it takes days, weeks, months or even years. I will find Meadow.
