Chapter 35

MEADOW'S POV

"I love you Kian Lawley" I say as we watched the sun disappear beyond the horizon.

"I love you more Meadow Franta." I kiss Kian's cheek and I rest my head on his shoulder.

*in the morning*

I wake in the tree house alone. I climb down and head to the house.

"What do you think you're doing?" Sam's voice echoes through the house. I run into the living room and see Kian and Sam shouting at each other.

"She doesn't love you anymore!" Kian shouts,

"You're wrong, Meadow is only going out with you because she doesn't know what she wants!" Sam gets up in Kian's face.

"No Sam, you're just jealous." Kian grits his teeth.

"I've had enough of your bullsh*t Kian."

Sam pushed Kian.

"Stop!" I shout but they don't hear me. Kian swings at Sam but he ducks. Sam stands up and punches Kian straight in the jaw. Kian stumbles back against the wall.

"Sam stop!" I run up to Kian to block anymore punches.

"Meadow..." Sam tries to hold my hand. I pull away and look at him disgusted.

"Sam just stay away. I can't deal with this stupidness, just stay away from me. I did love you Sam but you ruined your chance with me. Just get out my life." I gently inspect Kian's face and help him over to a sofa because he was dizzy.

"Meadow please forgive me." Sam cries.

"I CAN'T, JUST LEAVE." I shout,

"Why."Sam asks,

"Because... You've lost my trust and... I don't love you any more." Tears flow out of Sam's eyes. He looks down at his shoes and leaves the living room.

My first friend. My first kiss. My first love. It's all gone and I'm the one letting it go.
