Johnathan moved through the walkers like it was no big deal, everyone else was on edge, and obviously scared. But Johnathan was calm, moving through them like they were just people. You'd guess he'd be used to it because he was. He had used the walkers to an advantage since he figured out he could blend in as long as he was covered in their blood.

The small group stopped, Rick turning to them and speaking quietly. "All right, new plan. Flares from a few guns aren't enough. Too many walkers, too spread out. We're not going to the armory. We need our vehicles back at the quarry. All of us drive. We'll need to round 'em up. We leave, we come back."

"Okay." Jessie nodded. "But Judith...to the quarry and back, I..."

"I'll take her," Gabriel spoke up. "Keep her safe in my church until you all lead the walkers away."

Michonne turned to him. "Can you do this?"

"I'm supposed to," Gabriel responded.

"Beth will go with him. I can't have her out here." Johnathan told Rick, Beth looking at him in disbelief.

"Will you stop making decisions for me?!" Beth exclaimed quietly. "I'm a grown woman, I can make my own decisions."

Johnathan sighed. "Just, please. So I know you're safe. I'm not trying to make decisions for you, I just want you safe."

Beth sighed before nodding. "Fine."

"All right." Rick nodded. Carl moved forward and discreetly passed Judith to Gabriel.

Beth wrapped her arms around Johnathan tightly. "If you get yourself killed I'm bringing you back just so I can smack you for being stupid," Beth mumbled, a small laugh falling from Johnathan's lips. Beth looked up at him. "I'm serious."

"I know, sweetheart, I know. I love you, okay?" Johnathan told her, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"I love you too," Beth told him before slowly stepping away.
