Johnathan stood on the wall, watching as the trash people arrived, getting out of garbage trucks and off of bikes with guns in their hands. Johnathan had no trust for these people. It was a gut feeling, telling him that they should stay untrusted. Johnathan had Beth hid out in the locked basement of their locked house with a gun, food, and water, in case.
Johnathan climbed down the gaurd tower, going to the armory, he began to load guns, and grabbed a few before grabbing extra ammo, walking around Alexandria and placing guns with ammo, only telling a few of his people where they were.
He then helped Tara line up a few spiked cars in front of the gate, before helping Rosita with the dynamite and then he was back on the wall, watching as big trucks pulled up, Eugene speaking through a megaphone.
"All points are covered. Every contingency is already met." Eugene spoke loudly through the megaphone. Johnathan scoffed and shook his head. "I come armed with two barrels of the truth. A test is upon you, and I'm giving out the cheat sheet." The trucks pulled to a stop, the engines turning off. "H-hello. I come salved with the hope that it is my dropped knowledge that you heed. Options are zero to none. Compliance and fealty are your only escape. Bottom-lining it--you may thrive, or you may die. I sincerely wish for the former for everyone's sake."
Johnathan spit in Eugene's direction. "Backstabbing bastard!"
Eugene made a face of disgust in Johnathan's direction. "The jig is up and in full effect. Will you comply, Rick?"
"Where's Negan?" Rick questioned.
"I'm Negan." Eugene replied.
Johnathan glanced down, and made eye contact with Rosita. He held out a finger, telling her to wait a moment. And then he made a motion with his hand. Rosita clicked the button, and everybody ducked down. But nothing happened. "What the fuck." Johnathan muttered, rolling his eyes as he felt the barrel of a gun pressed into the back of his head.
